first off the # is not from the philipines the # is a land line from Amityville, NY.. still think that it might be a fraud thing.. better to be carefull and not ans this #..

Don't answer this number. It is a call from philipines... Made by the way of sattelite's waves. If you answer, they will have enough information to pick your indentity. They will not use it for now, they will wait 1 or 2 years to use it to make credit card with your name.

iono no answer left on my GrandCentral voicemail number 818 area code in the Valley in Los Angeles. no client cuz it's a google number...but grandcentral did get amityville, ny right

Got a missed called from this number on Dec 10. 6:19pm - I'm located in Montreal and Telus is my supplier therefore it does not only affect Rogers clients

Received also that call at 8:04 pm est, Dec 11, missed it, googled it, arrrived on this site, weird lol. I live in Montreal, called on Cell, I'm with Telus also.

I just missed this call too, except Im not with Rogers.  Does anyone know how they could have gotten my number then?

I just go thtis call at 11:07 on the 12th on my Verizon Cell Phone.  Luckily I did not answer it.

I received the call on December 10 at 6:52 pm, It was talking un spanish. Don't know what this is about. I'm in Montreal.

Just received a call on my cell asking me to press 1 for my extreme "jet away". Caller had a British acccent. I am an Aliant / Bell customer living in Halifax.

This is a scam call.
These people try to get a credit card number etc, under the pretext that you have won a trip and other prizes.

Why does getting a phone call "freak me out"? Whats wrong with you all? all it is, is a tellamarketer trying to get you to give info. its fake, and if you live in idah and get a call from long island, well, i doubt dave letterman really wants to talk to you, so dont get mad if you pick it up and dont understand it.

Me I was at work and left my cell phone at home. I come home and check my phone, and see the number 631-841-9303. The call came through at 6:48pm Tuesday Dec.11th,2007. What the heck is going on? Me I never called the number, but checked on it with www.switchboard.com . I get nothing but that its a land line in Suffolk, New York. Me I live in Montreal,Canada.

I was in a movie theatre at the time I got the call from 631 841-9303.  I'm glad I had the ringer turned off.  I'm having the number deactivated.  That will teach em.

I just saw I had a missed call from this number 631 841 9303 time was 7:41 I am currently residing outside of my home province of Quebec and I decided to "search" the number as I did not recognize it. Weird just weird.......

I got a phone call myself from 631-841-9303 on Dec. 11 at 6:31 P.M. For me as well, it was a recorded message from a Spanish speaking lady. The connection wasn't too good, so although I speak a bit of Spanish, I only picked up the last word "ahora". I thought it might be a wrong number, but after reading all you guys' comments...
I am really, really, really not sure BUT... I think I heard about this somewhere. I think it's a scam by which they test cell numbers to be able to piggy back on it. The scammers sell the phone numbers on the black market. Maybe someone can double check this info... like I said, I'm not 100% sure of this info. But just in case... check your cell phone statements when they come in the next time........... Good luck to all !

I have been getting calls from this number on and off for months.  I just got a call at 10:35 p.m.  For God's sake.  Each time there is some lady speaking in rapid spanish.  I hang up and call back and then there is another automated message with some guy saying if you no longer want to receive calls from this number press 1.  When I press 1, the stupid thing tells me that that was not a valid option.  Good Grief!  Then it asks me to enter my number, which I don't, because I still have no idea who these people are or what they are doing calling me.  So far I have not been charged anything beyond regular minute usage, but what is frustrating is that Stupid Sprint tells me that they cannot block this single caller.  I wish I could just find these people!
