My standard reply when they ask for the cell number is "I'm sorry, company policy forbids giving out cell phone numbers. But if you will give me your name, company, phone number and a email number and why you are calling i will give him/her that information to call you back."

hope YOU didn't give out any real information either. no doubt they were trying to get YOUR information to steal your ID.

Tius number keeps calling my cell phone.  I tell to stop and tht I;m on a DO NOT CALL LIST!  They keep calling and will not stop.

Jerk calls and asks for George.  When I ask who is calling he hangs up.  When you call the number back you get a busy tone.  THis is reason why mankind will always need his sense of smell.

These ppl call my job everyday and act like they know the owner. Today he calls and for the first 30 seconds of the phone call, all I can hear is him and a coworker talking back and forth, like I am not on the line. Then he finally says, "hey can I talk to Dennis?" Well, I said, I have never known of a Dennis to work here. Then he replies "I mean David". At this point I say, please take us off of whatever list we are on because everything about this phone call has been extremely unprofessional and whatever you are selling, we are not interested in purchasing. Then the telemarketer continues to "insult" me by saying..."Well....I'm sure you're 20.....5"
You sure told me Mr. telemarketer man....I wish I was 20 or 25....these people are garbage...get a real job, one that doesn't require you having to lie and rip ppl off, you a**hole. I'd rather clean toilets than do what you do...at least there is some dignity in that!!

Bob calls everyday and asks for owner by name. When told he isn't here they hang up before I can take a message. 2nd day same thing, different girl in office. 3rd day same as the 2nd. 4th day I'm a step ahead. I ask may I tell him who is calling, he says, "Bob, he knows me." I said, "what is your last name Bob?" He said, "just tell him Bob, he knows me." I hung up. 5th day, same sh**. I told Bob to remove us from his list. 6th day when Bob called, I hung up before he had a chance. I have caller ID idiot! Day 6, TRIUMPH!! Bob got blocked!! Anxiously waiting to see if Bob calls from a different # tomorrow, I have a noisy airhorn surprise for BOB!

They are telemarkers trying to sell you cheap stocks.  High pressure, won't let you off the phone once they get you.

Called wanted to speak to our CEO, only spoke his first name. When my CEO was conveniently not available, he and I quote word for word "What's his cell phone number again?". This is obvious someone who is new at the game or terrible at the game. Though I have run into customers/vendors who are terrible at identifying themselves up front.

This Company says they're from Merrill Lynch.  They keep calling my phone asking for Alberto and I tell them no one by that name is at this number but they continue to call from different phone numbers.  When I ask them for a name they hang up quickly.  Be very AWARE when a company cannot or will not provide you with general information like. Location,  who you are speaking with...anything! don't give them any information.

Called 5/28/2013 and it was a robo-call about mortgage modification, I had time to kill and I pressed (1) to be connected to a baboon (I mean a 'mortgage specialist').    I kept him busy for a good bit, but he wouldn't give out any real information, so I have to assume that this was the 'pre-qualification' department of the lead generation company that is making these robo-calls.

Evidently this company sells "leads" to both mortgage modification (scammers) companies as well as actual mortgage companies.

On call back this number is disconnected or no longer in service - a spoofed/faked number that these scam artists are using to help try and hide their location and true ID.

I called the number back ad all you get is a busy signal. They are trying to sell the CFO Stocks & Bond crap. They are just a bunch of telemarketers.

Asked for the owner by name (long version of course).  Hung up as soon as I asked who was calling.

This a***ole called my office and when I answered he asked for someone and I politely told him that the person he asked for, I did not know.  He then changed the name and asked for this person, I again told him that I did not know who he was looking for.  He then proceeded to ask me what my problem was and what was wrong with me.  Call me again d****ead, and I'll let you know what's wrong with me.

These people are are annoying cowards.  I hope one of the spineless cowards that is making these calls reads this because I want you to know how pathetic you are.  It must be a miserable little existence living your life.  You are beyond pathetic.

Asked for the former President and CEO. When I told him that he had retired, he sniggered, and asked who is the current President. Did not leave a message or his name.
