Telcom Tech have complaints of recieving calls from 516 944 4230

Me too, except as it comes in unknown, *69 gives me 19444230 only (no area code). They call at least 5X/day (some times 10X!!!

I live in area code 317 and am getting calls from 944-4230 with no area code before it. I did an Intelius search, and it came up with nothing. What is this number?

For all the people complaining about this service, all you have to do is go to www.telemarketing.donotcall.gov to be removed from the national do not call list.  It takes about 30 days to be removed and you will not get any calls from any company at that point.  The people who added to this "blog" are doing nothing but tarnishing a reputable company's name.  They could have gone to the website like responsible adults and had their number removed.  These people are also the ones who took out loans that they couldn't afford and blame every one else but themselves!!!!

I have been getting these calls as well but on my CELL phone!!  I do not answer it as I don't answer calls that I do not know the number,  thanks to my caller id!   So, I tried to call it back this morning and got the "can't complete the call" game.

I missed a call from this number about 2 hours ago, then got another call just now, I answered and I could hear some people in the back ground (reminded me of a bar scene) and they hung up...

I called my phone company and they said they cant do anything about it... has anyone tried filing a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission?

same deal here - they call repeatedly, but no one speaks; I think originally they called and asked for my husband and when I asked who was calling they hung up.  now their system just hangs up.  last time I walked the phone into the bathroom and held it to the toilet while I flushed a couple of times - they may as well have something useful recorded to express how we all feel about them ;)

the number always comes through on callerid without an area code so that when you attempt to call back you get the "can't complete the call" message

Just got a call.  They said they were Fidelity Mortgage working with FHA to ensure I wasn't a victim of predatory lending practices.  They asked if I had an ARM with interest rate above 6%.  When I said no, they asked if I had a fixed rate above 6%.
  I was immediately suspicious and asked what division of Fidelity the caller was in.  He said the Mortgage division.  I said, "Really, because you don't sound like you are from Fidelity".  He acted like he was offended and asked, "How do I not sound like I am from Fidelity". (Like FHA always works directly with lending companies instead of providing direct oversight of everything they do.
  I asked where he got my number and he immediately said "A stork dropped my number on his desk".  He hung up before I could ask to be placed on the do not call list.  
  I am certain they were attempting to scam me, but didn't get very far.  I also expect they will call back later to try to harrass me further.
  I stongly recommend hanging up on any number that comes in with the caller ID 944-4320.  They are certainly up to some type of attempt to scam people.  They certainly have nothing to do with a reputable mortgage company of any sort.
  If I could confirm the identity of the caller, I would love for Fidelity or some type of fraud advocacy group to be able to go after them.

Calls all the time and never leaves a message. Always calls late at night and wakes up my kids. SORRY B*****DS!!!

I got the "no bi***" treatment too.....just absolutely infuriates me that these people can get away with behavior like this.  I understand that telemarketers make a living harassing people with phone calls....but to actually harass them with crude language is just uncalled for!

I thought I was the only person that was getting these calls! What's more, is I don't understand the whole tactic, or their sale strategy! I answer and then hang up? And why call again and again just to hang up on me? I have also requested not to be called again, and they continue to call! Other than reporting it to the company, is there some sort of harassment charge, or something else I could do to keep them from calling? If I block the number, my phone service will charge me for it! I don't feel I should have to pay for  someone abusing the privilege of my phone, for a service I do not want, from @$$holes that can't seem to take no for an answer! Then I heard that there is something in the works being done that will do away with a request for being removed from a call list, so telemarketers can call as often as you like, and you basically have to say no repeatedly. And I must note that one person put a post on here that said one of these jerks called her a b----! There must be something that can be done. This is getting ridiculous! Prank phone calls are punishable by law, how come this isn't?

We get calls every day from this number, a guy asking for my husband. I asked to be put on their do not call list.  He said, "no, b----", not once but three times.  I asked to speak to his supervisor, he refused and hung upon on me.  I found this website, called 631-944-4230, the call was answered by an automated system saying I had reached Fidelity Marketing Strategy and that I could leave a voice mail if I wanted my number off their list.  I recited the whole story and demanded removal from their list.  We'll see what happens.

Calls several times a week and must use a computer dialer because all we get is a hang up when answered and we are on the DO NOT CALL list.  It says "unknown name" but have managed to trace this to Tele Comm Communications out of Farmington N.Y.
