This person keeps calling our house and hanging up--multiple times in the last week.  Is there anything we can do?

Have received 12 calls from this number in the last 2 weeks, including 4 yesterday.  How can I get them to stop calling my cell phone?  The first time I received a call I answered and after a short silence a woman who spoke terrible english came on the phone asking about a vehicle warranty, I hung up, but they keep calling.

Received 8 calls from this number in the last 3 weeks, including 4 today.

Caller spoke poor English with Spanish accent apparent.  He said he was selling extended warrantees for my older vehicle.  I told him I was not interested and hung up.  We will see if he calls again.  Hopefully not - FBI may be the call I make next time they call.  CLEARLY a scam.

called my cell once while I was at work and approximately 5 times straight in a roll around 9 p.m. with my children trying to sleep.  Will not pick up when return call.  They just call and hang up on you.

I've been getting them too. When I Googled Emmylou Retuerto it mentioned her Facebook page,says she's in the Phillipines. But the area code is in New York. I just called AT&T & added Call Blocking to my plan. Cost me a $31 "one time change fee", but will save me $8 a month on my bill, or so they said. We'll see. But I can guarantee you Emmylou's scam company won't get through to me again. The sad thing is that if the number gets bloccked too often they'll just start using a new one. I'll block that one too.

It is American Warranty Co.  "Tom" called me after they first had sent a notice to my house.  I told the operator as he was getting ready to transfer me to a warranty specialist that I had looked up the company and it was a scam - so please take me off your list - he hung up.

This person has called me twice while I've been in school.  Never left a measage.  I'm really annoyed.

Called this number back. It goes straight to voicemail. If you press 0 as soon as it answers you can go through their extension directory. I tried to get a live person for almost an hour. Obviously they really dont want to sell anything unless they call you. I would like to know how to get off there spam list.

this is a company, out of NY, offering extended warranty coverage on my truck and it already has 128k miles on it.....

Just tell them to take you off the list.

Keep getting calls but no message left.  I googled the number and found someone at this number is calling others too.

This person called my 70 year old mother 6 times in an hour.  She is scamming people trying to get their credit information for fraudulent car warranties.

I have gotten about 10 calls from this person, no messages yet.  Looks like I am not the only one.

Just got a call from this number, they said they were "American Automotive" and asked to confirm my personal information.  I said that I've never done business with them and they hung up on me.

Must be a scam, they hang up when challenged.

Continuing to get calls from this number about car warranties. Tell her I don't have a car and she hangs up. But calls back later in the day. She knows my name!

Saw the number on caller ID 6-8 times in one day.  Glad to know it's not just me.  I will anser next time and read the riot act.

Just got this call 5 minutes ago

Wow.  I see others are getting these calls as well...  I've been polite and told them I'm not interested, but they don't want to hear it apparently.  They call me on a daily basis.  I just don't want this service.  I just got a call 20 minutes ago.  I told the lady (that has horrible English, that I can barely understand) that I have been called 20 times over the past month, and my answer is the same each time - "NO".  She didn't care and still transferred me over to the "rep" who can give me details about this product.  I told him (the "rep" I was transferred to) to take me off the list, but I doubt it will help...  If I say I don't want this crap, do they think if they keep calling, it will change my mind?  There is no way I will EVER buy this extended warranty from these guys, even if I desperatley needed one.  If I get more calls (since I told them to take me off the list), I'll post here again....  I'm sure I'll be posting within the next 24 hours.  :(

This number has called several times..I see I am not the only one. Thnak goodness for this website so we can figure this out!

Keeps calling my wife's cell phone several times a day.  I finally blocked that number on all my phones to eliminate the problem for us.

Continues to call at least once a week and it's a scam and trying to get people private information. They need to be stopped and dealt with immediatley.

called me 7 times in one day, over several weeks, average 4 times a day, answered once, extended auto warranty, i dont even own a car, they keep calling anyway.

Called me 4 times in 15 minutes. No body there just hands up after 10 seconds

That number called me 4 times yesterday. The first 3 times I answered, and after a few second hung up on me. Then the 4th time, a woman asked for me and I told her she had the wrong number just to be safe! I dont take calls from strange numbers. So apparantly this is a car warranty scam. I'll be taking this to the authorities next time she calls me from NY!

This number calls me atleast 1-2x per day. i have another number also that does the same thing that won't let up. The other number is 914-290-6258. Honestly I wish these people would stop calling my cell phone!!!!!

This number/person is all over the internet when googled. Why isn't anything being done about it?

The caller ID said the caller's name is Emmylou Retuerto, for whatever it's worth.  Called but did not leave a message.
