Scam Got the sam eemail Jan 10 2010
okay fine i understand that the total price is $3,070.88 i want you to understand that the private shipper that will pick up from you will also pick it up with warmer truck and i want you to go ahead now and add extra 1650 plus the total of the food that's for the private shipper that will come and pick up the food on the event date by 3pm and  you have the 1650 dollars send to them by western union  so that i will not have any problem and they will also pick up chair and table for me some where okay so  you can have it send to them to prepare the pick up before the event date so that it will no disappointment in both side and u will charge everything on my card right now  and i will also be coming with the shipper for the pick up in your store okay so that we can meet in person on my pick up date and get me the grand cost with the shipper fee now.

This is the message I've received by fax. also e-mail. Please advise us where to report this scam. tx

Lolo - I received the same exact fax and followed by e-mail - it's so unbelievable that this could be a scam - and yes it is - I guess there's a lot of weird people out there.

We received a fax from this number saying the exact same thing. it is from a sender called "DAN LEE" the english is very poor. The message reads as follows:

This is OBVIOUSLY a scam!

They want to order food for their fathers bday and have their "courier" pick it up.  Scam!

Receiving faxes from this number requesting food for a relatives birthday.  Also so receiving like emails from different individuals.  It's obvious that this is a scam.  The people writing these messages can't write English correctly.  I'm not sure what the scam is but I'm sure it's a lot like the "roommate" scam.  Why would someone in Missouri want to order chicken caesar salads from somewhere in South FL???
