i spoke to the girl she asked if i'd like to lower my interest rate and i said no please stop calling me and remove me from your calling list and she hung up on me

answered the phone after a long pause, recording came on "you are eligble for a loan modification ..... " I hung up.

I'm beyond pissed off at this very moment..... These a**holes called my cellphone and I can't afford the minutes to be used up by these people. I only have this cellphone for emergencys because I have a family member in the hospital. I don't give this number out so needless to say, I was freaked just by the cellphone ringing.

Is there any way to stop this kind of thing?

These people are very lucky that they are located a good distance from where I live. I'd shove a phone so up where the sun don't shine.......

If there is a way to stop this kind of thing, please count me in on the action.

That number has called my cell a few times and doesn't leave a voice message.  I tried calling them back and "all circuits are busy."

If it's Mark or Sharon Weaver calling from 608 Cave Walk Ln; Imperial, MO 63052, then we all should call the local sheriff or police there and complain.

Maybe forward all junk mail you receive to their address.  Any other ideas?

credit card call center, using my pay as I go cell phone minutes, boooooooooo!!

The Caller ID number is faked.  It is a scam telemarketing company who violates telemarketing rules and doesn't want to get caught.  So they use a fake company name, a fake caller ID, refuse to give you a real phone number or address and will hang up if you persist.

Complain to the FTC via their do-not-call web page.

And do answer the call and harass the telemarketer on the other end, they know what they are doing is illegal

They are NOT a credit card call center.  They are a SCAM telemarketing company that attempts to SCAM people into giving their credit card number which will then be charged for SCAM services that won't be delivered (reduction in interest rates on credit cards).

Scam, scam, scam.  

But do talk to them and waste their time, before abusing they with every four letter word you can think of.

Automated call about loan info on my cell phone.  Received another call last week that sounded like the same voice but from a different area code.  Sick of these calls!!!!!  Looks like something could be done to this aggravation.
