Received call on my cell. I live in Caifornia. My sister and her family have this same area code. I answered the call and a female voice (automated) came on. " Hi this is Joyce hang on a minute." I ended the call immediately.

got a call from this number. Did not know who that is. Searched Google and decided I would not take this call from now on. Don't know why they have the right to call my cell, since I would have to pay for the time if I took the call.

Just got a call from this number a couple minutes ago - rang twice and hung up before I could answer.  No message left.  Caller ID said it was a Missouri number.

Just got the call.  Judging from the number of hang-ups reported, if they call again I'm going to answer "Hola" instead of "Hello":  I wonder if they are specifically looking for Spanish speakers to peddle their wares.

Just got a call from this number at 2:55 pm in Utah.  It sounded like a recording in Spanish...hello I only speak English.  It is a little irritating to get these typ of phone calls.

I've had two calls from this number. Nuvox provided the number. My guess it that it's being dialed in Mexico and routed through a voice over IP system - the call would be free to the caller.

I received a call on 8-31 @ 9:30 AM EST from the same number.  It sounded like an automated message - the man spoke in Spanish ..once a week. this phone call...

I just received call from this number (9:16 am eastern). They left no message.

Left message on my RingCentral throwaway number. Computer voice stating I had won accomodations in Orlando. Stated to press 1 to continue, press 2 to be removed from their system.

"This is a travel related call. if you wish to hear more, we will call you back shortly. if you wish to be removed from our database, press 1" i pressed 1 "Invalid entry. please enter your phone number starting with the area code or this call will be terminated" I entered my number, it hung up on me!!!

Got the call last night at 8:53pm EST at work (unlisted number). A guy left a very brief message in Spanish which my company's phone system recorded and emailed to me. I still have it in case anyone's interested (email me at jerkramer@gmail.com).

Just got call to my cell at 957 CST.  Didn't pick up and no message was left.

Guarantee its a scamming technique. You may have an unlisted number, but that doesnt mean you number is safe. Even if you enter your number into a do not call (DNC) registry, that doesnt mean that you number never appears on telemarker lists. Telemarking companies are required to check against the DNC list, this prevents lawsuits... but that doesnt mean that someone else cant just acquire your number and call it, it costs a lot of money to get the list.. but even more to get the DNC list (around $14k).

I can understand why people pick it up, who knows who it may be. but by pushing numbers on their automated carp thing, that just signifies to them that it is a valid number, or even worse, just by picking it up.
then can turn around.. and sell that list, if they want. who knows..

i googled it to find out who it was too... this is probably the 8th time i have gotten a call like this. i picked up once.. same thing, Spanish speaking. immediately hung up.. but the damage might have already been done.

Automated message.  It said "hi, this is Susan, please wait."  The funny thing is that I didn't wait.  So, I added this number to my entry called "Spammer," which has no ring.

Called at 7:20 PM MST, no message.  If the person who called me is reading this I surely hope you do not dial my phone number again.

got a call from this number.  In the process of looking up the area code, saw  something that said there were 5 reports on this number.  This piqued my interest it took me to this board.  Most people report about the same as what occurred with me.  Call being received on cell phones (mine is unpublished)and there was no message left.

Just got "the call" at 6:38 mountain time, didn't pick it up because I didn't expect a call from anyone in Missouri.  There was no message.  One thing it seems like is that most of these posts are people who got the call on their cell phones, so who ever is working this list is not just going to public records, but has access to cell numbers.  Mine is unpublished.  I'm on Cingular/AT&T, how about you all?  Also, in reading the posts, they seem to hang up if the person answers speaking english.  Anyone answer in spanish and have the same thing happen?

I got this call on my cell phone at 4:35PM (Pacific) August 29, 2007.  A recorded message and then it sounded as if I was transferred with a phone ringing signal.  I hung up.  In reading through these previous messages, it sounds like one I get every few weeks but from various phone numbers.
