Got a missed call from 636-812-0221 - CID says it's from Missouri

I had 2 back to back calls from 2 people saying they had a job opportunity. Sure, I'm going to believe 2 different people who happen to have an Indian accent tell me the exact same job opening. Right. By the way, if they found your number, they probably have seen you from Career Builder. Sadly lots of scams contact you from there.

Got a call at 8:30 PST I am an Executive Recruiter and no legit recruiter would call a potential candidate that late and then send an e-mail stating that the position with BofA requires a S.S.# prior to submitting a resume!  Did this foreign person think I just fell off a turnip truck or did he?  Lol
I'm turning the info over to the Attorney General.  Hope other people will too before someone gets hurt by the scam.

I received an email advertising for a job that sounds great with NO interview requiered. That was my first red flag. But I sent my resume anyway. Then I got a call at 7:00am the next morning (2nd red flag) from a guy with a thick Indian accent (3rd red flag). He verified the basic information on my resume, and then asked me for my date of birth. I hung up.

I contract for Rose International as a UI Designer.  Rose is a legit company.  If this number is indeed a Rose number than I wouldn't worry about it.  However I would not suggest providing your SSN over the phone to a person that you did not ask to be contacted by.

Got a call from this number 2 minutes after a call from 815-730-4900; neither left a message. Hope this helps someone ... thanks everyone!

i got a call gave them all my info and did all the paper work are they a scam are not still waiting to see also did the drug testing her in sacramento so do they scam still waiting

I let it go to voicemail. Just got a call from Ady at Rose Int. Said he saw my resume on CareerBuilder for an admin assistant position. But after reading all these responses, I'm pretty sure it's a scam to get my SSN. Blah. I hate these places that prey on people who are down and out looking for work. :(

Got a call today from this number today around 5:26pm eastern time. After seeing all the info everyone has provided I didn't call back. Thanks guys/girls keep up the great work. Isn't the internet great! What did we do without it. :-)

I recvd a call from this numb as well...sev times.  Seemed as if he knew about my resume but then asked for my ssn.  Wait!!!!  No good...everybody knows not to do this but when you are looking for wk people get desp.  I declined and hung up.  He calls back sev times and I ignored.  What do they say about burned bridges...

guy with indian accent from rose int - job from dice, sent email

Got a call today, said they found my information on Dice.com and were looking for a position with AT&T in Redmond, WA. Asked a bunch of legit questions that might have been read right off of the Dice.com website and then asked for my social security number to present me to the company. I denied to give it until I interviewed and he said he'd set up an interview, but it seemed REALLY fishy

Recdeived the same call this morning at 11:08 am EST about Teller position. Indian accent, name of the individual from Rose International is Chris.

Just got an email from him (referenced in his message)

Two calls from 636-812-0221. a voice mail from Bill from Rose International. (with an Indian accent) knew my name and asked that I call back about a Web design position. Probably found my number. Thansk for the tips here folks!

This is a company called rose international. I got a call today.
