this number called, when we answered they hung up; then, when i tried to call it back I just get a busy signal.  i hope to heck they don't start calling all the time, as we are already getting plenty of 'unknown name unknown number' BS calls!

If they never answer, it couldn't be someone trying sell something.  Are they trying to hack or what?

(645) 915-0144 calls me at LEAST 5 times EVERY HOUR. No one is on the line when I answer. Never a message is left. Now, I just pick up the phone and say nothing. I just sit quietly on the other end until they hang up. I just hope they have to pay long distance. I'm so annoyed. It starts about 8am central time and continues ALL DAY LONG until about 10pm. I'm getting more than 20 calls a day!

I have been getting these calls too now. I haven't given out my cell phone number to anyone on the sites that pop up. This is a number that is really ticking me off. I have been through the stuff that all of you have said. I have reported this problem and marked every time that this number calls my phone. I'm turning it in to higher authorities than the police.

If this is Dish Network then they should STOP calloing me. I discontinuerd with them in November 2009. I have told that guy from where ever the HELL he is DO NOT CALL me. Alread today I have received 4 calls.

T he number calls us day and night never leaving a message and when I call it back the operator  saids the number  is dissconnected. W.t.f. ?  can't someone stop these annoying calls?

The U.S. Department of Justice, at the Federal Trade Commission?s request, filed suit today in federal district court charging that satellite television provider Dish Network, directly and through its authorized dealers, called numerous consumers whose numbers are on the National Do Not Call Registry. The United States also charged Dish Network, previously known as EchoStar, with violating the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR) by assisting and supporting its authorized dealers in telemarketing Dish Network services via ?robocalls? that deliver prerecorded telemarketing messages when consumers answer their phones.

?Since the National Do Not Call Registry was launched, it has been enormously effective at protecting millions of Americans from unwanted telemarketing calls at home,? said Eileen Harrington, Acting Director of the FTC?s Bureau of Consumer Protection. ?But because a few bad actors still don?t get it, we want to make it crystal clear. If you call consumers whose numbers are on the Do Not Call Registry, you?re breaking the law. If your authorized dealers call consumers whose numbers are on the Registry, you?re breaking the law. Either way, we will protect the privacy of American consumers and we will hold you accountable.?

The government seeks a permanent injunction against Dish Network that prohibits the satellite TV provider from violating the TSR (including its Do Not Call provisions and abandoned call restrictions), either directly or through its authorized dealers; requires Dish Network to monitor and enforce its authorized dealers? compliance with the TSR; and prohibits Dish Network from assisting and facilitating violations. The government also seeks civil penalties for Dish?s violations.

The complaint announced against Dish Network today is being brought jointly with the Attorneys General of California, Illinois, Ohio, and North Carolina as co-plaintiffs. In addition to the TSR violations alleged by the United States, the complaint includes allegations brought solely by the state Attorneys General. They include allegations that Dish Network violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and state law ? either directly or indirectly as a result of third parties acting on its behalf ? by calling numbers on the Do Not Call Registry and by placing telemarketing calls that deliver prerecorded messages to live consumers.

The FTC also announced today that, at its request, the Justice Department is filing complaints against two of Dish Network?s authorized dealers, accusing them of violating the TSR by calling consumers whose numbers are on the Registry. The principals of those authorized dealers are also named in those complaints. The three complaints announced today were filed against: 1) Dish Network, LLC, formerly known as EchoStar; 2) Vision Quest, LLC, and its principal Brian K. Cavett; and 3) New Edge Satellite, Inc., and its principal Derek LaVictor.

In connection with the same conduct alleged in the complaint filed today against Dish Network, at the FTC?s request, the Justice Department filed suit in the summer of 2008 against two other Dish Network authorized dealers and their principals: Planet Earth Satellite, Inc., d/b/a Teichert Marketing; and Star Satellite, LLC, d/b/a Tenaya Marketing. The Commission vote approving each of the three complaints announced today was 4-0. They were filed by the Justice Department on the FTC?s behalf on March 25, 2009. Cavett, and against New Edge Satellite Inc. and Derek LaVictor, were both filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

have been getting called several times a day for several days now i filled a report and the officer said that in my state there is no harassment laws here and if there was this does not apply this made me mad... they call 8-12 times a day all hours.... what do i do?

who ever this is at this 645 number needs to quit playing around with people. I rings the phone once and I can't get thru to who it was calling. It is changed or is nolonger in service.

I recieve so many calls from this number it makes no since. I answer nobody says nothing. I stop answering thing they would leave a message in which they do not. I try to call it back and it says, not able to.

This company has called my personal cell phone up to 8 times a day. I have tried to tell them to please stop calling. When they first called I asnwered it they asked for some Elizabeth. I told them I was not elizabeth. After the phone call they called back and asked me the same thing. So I got mad and yelled at them. They continued and will not stop calling my cell phone day and night, back to back phone calls. They never leave a voice mail, and the only time I did talk to somebody they didn't believe me that I wasn't the person they were looking for.

Got this number 3 times in one hour. They just hang up and when i try calling back it does not allow the call to got through. I tried calling with the "1" dialed first and then just the regular number and it does not allow my call to go through. Annoying

Same with Mav, the calls started on Dec 23, 2009. Whenever I try calling back, it says number is invalid. I'm not mad, but it's really annoying....

Calls started Dec 23, 2009. Received 3 phone calls that only rang one time and then hung up. Also tried to call back and was unable to connect. Have since put number on my spam do not call list after finding this web site.

They called me at 430 pm central time I called back it said the number you diald is not a working number please check the number and dial agian I have ben getting calls from 3rd parties for a while now ever since my husband signed up with bass pro (it may not be related to them but, the calls didn't happen till we gave them our number they could be selling them to 3rd parties!!! Im tierd of all the calls! Never agian will i sign up for anything lol

I think this number is some sort of scam type business. I tried to talk to the guy who had a very deep Asian accent, but he refused to talk to me, lol he hung up....which made me mad, so I tried to call him back and the number was invalid. The name displayed in the caller ID was (msc-vip4.nj.itx) I am thinking that these guys are hacking into the phone company and getting a number that does not exist to call people...I'm not a hacker so I can't track them down, but if I could track them down I would kick their a$$
