I've been getting several texts every week for almost a month from this number. Always offering loans or cash advances.

I am receiving daily texts from 646-291-7924, reply STOP, and continue to receive them! This uses my text allowance. There must be a way to stop it other than changing my cell #, which I never give except to people I know, so how did this person/company even get it???

I HAVE RECEIVED 4 TEXT MESSAGES IN THE LAST 2 DAYS ASKING ME IF I NEED A LOAN. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THESE AND THEY ARE USING MY TEXT MESSAGES. I AM ON THE NATIONAL "DO NOT CALL" LIST AND SO THEREFORE IT IS ILLEGAL TO DO THIS. ALTHOUGH I DID FIND OUT THAT DOES NOT PERTAIN TO TEXT MESSAGES. HOW CAN THIS BE STOPPED?

I am getting text msgs for "Need $1500 now? Visit credit600.com" I have never heard of them and I don't want to pay for spam text msgs. I am also on the do not call list (have been for years). I got 2 in a row like this. Help!

Got the same message "Thx 4 visiting our site...etc..." I started getting these spam messages when I went to check the balance on a gift card (more specifically, a rebate card from Verizon.....it was a rebate card given to me by Verizon when I got a new phone...I think it was Visa maybe???). I went to the website on the card, typed in my card number to check the balance, and then started receiving these texts. Anybody do the same?

All I can think of is that I put my information in a website to order some things recently. But they seemed like credible sites?!
I called them and asked them where they got my information, they asked my first and last name (to which I gave a fake name, of course) and then they hung up on me. WHAT is going on?!

I received a text from this number thanking me for visiting their website, and advising me to get a free $25 gift card to Walmart by calling an 888 number.

Get over being on the Do Not Call list. These solicitations are clearly illegal so the company doesn't care. There are also a lot of loopholes to the list. I received a text thanking me for visiting "[their]website" and saying I could call an 888 number to receive a $25 walmart gift card.

I called the 888 number and gave no ifo from my text from my home line and told them i was reporting them to the attorney general. She was shocked and said she would remove me from their list. We shall see about that considering she hung up before getting my number! I think i will report it to NY attorney general and i suggest you all start doing the same!
