Do you know what their address is? I know you have to know their address to be able to file a complaint with Texas Attorney General against Adam Banks & Law Office of Morgan Jackson.

I have been getting calls from this number.

Thanks for the advice. I got a call from Adam Banks stating that my name came up under someone else (who I have no idea who that person is) and I have filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General and FTC is next on my list. The Texas Attorney Generals Office told me to not to talk to them or call them back if they are leaving a message. For anyone else having trouble maybe try contacting your phone providers for both cell phone and home number to get the number blocked.

Don't listen to John Doe because more than likely he is Adam Banks or works for that company. More than likely it is for an online pay day loan or something that was taken out. They try to scare everyone to think that have written bad checks. But actually they haven't. Because if an online payday loan was taken and payment didn't go through, it is not considered as a hot check. The only things that can be considered as a hot check is if it was actually written by the customer like at Walmart or QT. So, follow what Barry said "contact Texas Attorney General" plus contact FTC. Also, I would check your credit history to see if it was valid & to see how much is actually owed if it was owed. Since the 2nd or 3rd party bill collectors always add extra fees to it. Say like if you owe $300, they will try to charge you $1800+. So basically if you get called again, just tell them you have contacted Texas Attorney General & FTC about them.

This person keeps calling me for someone else and I keep telling him I have no idea who it is...I asked him to stop calling and yet he still does. What is my recourse? I don't even have any debts!

We have been receiving phone calls from more than one gruff-voiced man claiming to be Adam Banks of IC Systems. He claims our adult daughter is guilty of check fraud and that it is urgent that we have her attorney contact him immediately. "Adam Banks" won't take "Contact her yourself, " for an answer. There have been multiple phone calls to our home where we have both spoken with "Adam Banks". There were also voice messages left.
