Same here.  This was reported on WDRB news (FOX 41) last night.  It is someone trying to steal personal bank info and using Stock Yards Bank's name.

Interesting that I just saw that last night, received a call on my cell at 1 AM (caller ID showed "5") and then on my home number at 3:10 AM with 646-351-1700.

Just plain dishonest people.

Per my previous post, I pay Vitelity Communications for this phone number that is being spoofed. This is the result of the support ticket I've opened trying to gain insight to this problem.  Ultimately folks, this is the "workaround" that scam artists and telemarketers have to the "do not call" list. To mask their phone number as someone else's.   I will be releasing this phone number today, which will likely result in someone else purchasing it.  

For those of you that have iPhones, I recommend updating your iOS to version 7 where you can block calling numbers.  Otherwise, check with your carriers to see if this feature can be achieved on your account through entering a blocked number feature code or adding numbers to be blocked via an online web portal.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that Vitelity can do to remedy this spoofing. If you see no signs of it slowing down then the best solution may be to release the DID itself. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Received call from this number at 8:11 AM this morning, 12/10/13 to USA 612 area code. Automated female voice says something to the effect of "We regret to inform you your ___ bankcard debitcard has been locked. To be transferred to the security department press 1." (The ___ was a bank name I did not recognize and don't recall right now.) I pressed 1. The same or similar automated female voice tells me to enter my 16 digit card number. I entered 16 random digits to see what would happen next. Then a male voice, less robotic sounding and with possibly a slight UK accent read back the digits I'd entered. The female automated voice then said to press 1 if that was the correct number. I pressed 1. The female voice then told me the number I entered was not recognized, and to enter it again, "carefully." I played their little game 3 times and upon reaching the not-recognized response for the third time, the female auto voice said, "Good bye." The line was then disconnected. I assume their intent was to harvest a bank card number and possibly pin code.... (There should be another "Call Type" listed for calls here, "Suspected Fraud."

Oh- And I do not bank with Stock Yards.

I got this call and I am a 502 area cod as well!  From 646-351-1700. The number comes up on Spokeo as a Stock Yard Bank telemarketer. I didn't answer but a voice mail was left. It was an automated voice saying 'or press 1 for the security department'. And that's it. I also got a text earlier today from JAFTC@WSGYMT.com stating the following- "subj: Message, id: VNSU, msg: StockYardsAndTrust, ZMFM alert 539472. Please call (479)689-4293".

Just received a call from this number on the home phone 11:30pm. Did not answer.

Just received a call from this number at 10:56 pm. I reversed searched it and it says "Windstream Communications". Funny thing is my boyfriend received a call from a NE number over the weekend and when we reverse searched the number it said Windstream Communications as well. I did not answer but tried calling back and it was busy. Looks like they are targeting Louisville KY numbers because someone with a 502 area code just posted on this site as well.

I am the current user of 646-351-1700, a DID phone number I subscribe to from Vitelity Communications.

Someone is spoofing this phone number, advertising it as their outbound caller ID making it appear as if my company is making these calls, which it is not.  We are a startup IT services company. This breach has nothing to do with security problems on our systems and possibly not on Vitelity's systems either.  

Initially, this number rang into our business' auto-attendant greeting and so no one was aware of the problem occurring. It was when one of our technicians noticed a high volume of calls coming into our number that we began to investigate.  We routed the number temporarily to a voice mail box so we could find out if there were legitimate calls occurring and we received messages such as this:

You have received a voicemail from "WRIGHT RONALD" (502) 262-7018 on Mon Dec  9 03:30:55 PM MST 2013.

This voicemail is 32 seconds long and has been converted to text for your convenience.
Text: "Hey, look so my kids call me on my cell phone from this number 502-262-7018. I don't have stock yards Bank credit card I wish you would quit calling my cell phone I don't have a stock yards Bank credit card please quit calling my phone."

We are not a Bank or credit company of any kind and did not make the calls that are showing up advertised as 646-351-1700.  This is a phone system configuration change resulting in identity theft in order to get away with spamming phones with no consequences.  

We have opened a ticket with Vitelity requesting that they advise on how to investigate who is doing this and what action can be taken.  If they cannot solve this, we will be releasing the number back to Vitelity as it is not usable under these conditions.

Apologies to anyone who is experiencing this problem. Believe me it is as much a headache for us as it is for you.
