Called my cell phone and said it was time sensitive.  That the government was filing againts me for fraud.  I told him that the government could find me if they wanted.  I called the local police who said the N.Y. number is a strip mall and the other number is from Canada.  He said they are some kind of collection agency mostly for Columbia House.  I don't answer my phone when I see it's him.

I got a call from this place today. Was some Indian guy who could not complete the sentences he was reading. At end of call he gave up and just hung up. I'll just add the number to the blacklist on my phone. Idiots!!

Officer Roger Hardy is hard at work scamming again. I am so surprised this guy has been around doing this back into 2009. Today is April 14, 2011. He called me twice today on my cell phone and left a message the first time saying he was Officer Roger Hardy with the Department of Law and Investigation and that my name had received an affidavit that had been filed against my social security #. He is using a new # at least with me which is 786-309-5490.  He called my office and my cell about a month ago but I figured it was a scam as I couldn't make out the details because of a bad connection and because he had an accent. Today, he told me to not disregard this message and that if he does not receive a call ASAP that he would make sure I was in great trouble. As always he ended the call with a GOD BLESS YOU. What a loser. At first it upset me, but now I just want to see him serving time in a dungeon. What a jerk.

I am receiving calls from Officer Roger Hardy from the dept of Law and Investigation who tells me I have a law suit against me. He calls several times a day and although I just hang up, keeps calling. Finally I told him to send something in writing. He said I will receive it. He has latched on and won't let go. It's unnerving.

646-506-9441.  I am convinced we have stumbled onto the latest terrorist attempt on the American public.  Have reported this to the NY Attorney general's office, the FTC, and am about to report to FBI.
We need to all hang together and keep these idiots from getting away with this.  Report all to authorities and keep records.

The "Officer Hardy"  called me saying that I needed to fax him my credit card number because I owed $500 dollars for a loan that I never took out.  The "company" that gave me the loan was going to file fraud charges against me for check fraud???  I asked him what the name of the compny was and he said he could not disclose this information.  Calls me on my cell and at work. I tried faxing a statement that my friend (who is a lawyer) wrote and the fax number he gave me didn't work.  So frustrating

My neighbor and my daughter received a call from officer Calvin Hardy. Said he investigates fraud wanted my social security number.  Told my neighbor I put her down as a referance.  Tried to call the number back, but get dead air

I received a call from "Officer Steven Jacobs" from the Department of Law & Investigation as well. He called me at work and at my home number (how he got both numbers, I am not sure). When I called this number back to return his call, another person answered and asked how he could help me. I advised him of my name and indicated that I was returning Officer Jacobs' call. He said something with a strong East Indian accent and then stated "Ok" and disconnected the call. About 20 minutes later, "Officer Jacobs" called back asking for a Kathy Barnett. I advised him he had the wrong number and he became defensive stating that this was the number that was on his desk to call and he knew that I was this Kathy Barnett person. I immediately advised him that I was at work and refused to play this game with him. I told him that if he did not stop calling me while at work, then I was going to personally contact the US Law enforcement to report him. He advised that he works closely with the US Government already. I then indicated that if I was needed by the US government for anything, they know exactly where I am located. I ended up talking over him and told him to no longer call me at work or he would be reported. I disconnected the call. My next move is to contact the city in New York where this area code is attached to and notify them as well of the calls that are being made from this number.

Rec'd call on my cell. The man said that he was from Dept of Law & Investigation working on fraudulant activity that someone was using my name and OLD Social Security Number to commit fraud (I only have one social security number-which I did not provide).  I asked for detail, but an "Officer Hardy" would not provide any detail.  I insisted he stop calling me.  He still calls, but I won't answer my phone.
