Craigslist con artist. Ignore them.

I got text message from this number regarding the items I put on sale on Craigslist. This is a typical scamster who wants to pay you via paypal and will send his agent to pick up the items as he is out of country at the moment.
Can someone find out about these guys and block their numbers and arrest them if possible.

Yep. Contacted me about a vehicle for sale. How in the hell do they find the ads so soon? He replied to my listing 10 minutes after i listed and I'm 2000 miles away and had it listed in a totally different area.....

Same guy as everbody else is reporting!!!! Oceanographer wanted for his dad have to leave on assignment...blah blah blah...wanted pay pal account...NOT!!!!! Damn scammers...nothing else better to do than scam people!!

Same person just did the same thing to me this morning.  Said he was an oceanograper about to go to see and wanted to buy my mower for full price, sight unseen for his dad.  It is on Craigslist also.  Wanted my paypal account information.  I told him I didn't have a paypal account and he said that is the only way he can pay.

F-ing guy same deal, wants my Paypal account for a dirt bike for his dad.  Oceanographer leaving on assignment at any moment.  Blah blah blah....

I am selling two cars on Craigslist...one a hearse and one a compact...he replied telling me the same scam info that he is an oceanographer etc. and that this is for his Dad....he had no idea he was replying to the same person. Who buys a hearse and a compact car for Dad??? Isn't there a way to have this guy arrested for fraud, or at least have his phone shut off? He must have had success scamming some poor soul?.

Yup, Same thing here. Wanted to pay full asking price for an unseen motorcycle, for his dad.
And of course he's an oceanographer heading out to sea!!

I should have searched his number before i texted him back, but im glad i found this. Im selling my car on craigslist. Told me happy new year and am i still selling my car. Now i know.

BIG SCAMMER!!  This same number replied to a CL ad I had selling a pick-up truck. He wanted to buy sight-unseen for his dad. Said he was an oceanographer and did not bother to haggle price. He did not say where he wanted truck sent. He only wanted PayPal account info. One quick search of his phone number and I was on to him. Think I will play with him for a while.  :))))

Tried to scam my friend on a Craig's list motorcycle sale. Marine Bioligist crap. Same as above complaints.

Same here. Going to sea as a marine biologist and buying boat for the kid. Wanted to buy boat sight unseen full price. Asked for pay-pal account. LOL! Do I look stupid?????

He tried to scam me too. I was selling a motor home and he wanted me to pay shipping cost bc he gave 900 extra dollars. He even said he was a marine on depoyment

Just received a text message from this number about a motorcycle I am selling on craigslist. No further contact when I replied with CASH ONLY! NO PAYPAL!!

Just had numerous texts from this number expressing interest in the "item" that I was selling on craigslist. Never mentioned that the item was actually a car that I was selling. They asked me to give them my paypal account number and they would continue with the transaction site unseen. Sounds Fraudulent

Scammer, does the old I will deposit $XX,XXX amount in your PayPal account. You send me back $X,XXX in processing fees......all BS
