I just posted wheels for sale on  craigslist within a hour I got a text from this number 646-389-9327 asking a lot of questions he said his name is Peterson Smith we wants to PayPal me $1450 then money gram $450 to the shipping company that's a no go for me it sure is a scam.

he did the SAME thing to me with an off road vehical I have forsake on Craig's list. I was all exited to be let down because I googled his number. This post has been extremely helpful!

This dude just texted about a truck for sale and then cursed me out when i told him that money gram wouldnt work with paypal and i wasnt going to work with him.  i threatened to call the cops and he finally left me alone.  he asked me to "put yourself in my shoe."  the further along we got, the angrier he got and the more atricious his english got!  i should have noticed this was a scam right from the start.

This person also contacted me about a car I have for sale. Asking if I also have a Pay Pal account, Really who has the time to do this!!! I just sent him a nasty message!!! Maybe now he will leave me alone!!!

I'm selling a P.A. system or public address system on CL. Speakers, ampifier, etc. This person texted me from this number with questions. I asked if I could call this person back to answer the questions they had but they told me they had a hearing disability and I could not call them. A HEARING DISABILITY yet they were contacting me about a SOUND SYSTEM! F-ing idiot!!!

What's that matter scammer?  Everyone too smart to fall for your scam?  No one but a scammer says they will have a shipper pick up items and then wants the seller to pay the shipper for them.

this number is a good person and dont scam any one...why are you all afraid of this number...hope you are sure you are not mixing his number up with order number...

i got the same message from this number and he's so trustworthy and a person who dont scam on here..i had a transaction with him and he's was very safe and secure with paypal so i dont know why you are all afraid of him

Just got messages from this idiot after listing out piano on Craigslist. So glad I did my homework. What has happened to honest people?!

I'm selling a used car and this "person" keeps texting me asking me questions that are already answered in the ad and said for his own protection, he only uses paypal..

Did the same to us.  Selling a boat and he wanted to pay through paypal. I called the number and the name is Robbie, told him we were calling FBI....

This person texted me as well.  He copied and pasted the craigslist post and said paypal was the "only access to his bank account".  Total scammer.

Same thing just happened to me while selling furniture on Craigslist. They copied and paste the ad into the text, asked several questions about it and then asked for a PayPay Account. Scam

just had this number text me and ask if my item was still for sale. and yes it was copied and paste'd. very annoying.

I have something for sale on Craigslist and he keeps texting, wanting to buy it and have movers pick it up (movers for an action figure???) so I don't have to ship, he just needs my paypal number. It's a scam.
