Theres been emails to alot of people that arent even on my contact list for a job vancancy offered by a David B Jones, this is deffinately a scam. I've changed my account password and details 3 times now and the hacker still seems to find a way top get in :/ ....any suggestions?

Responded to job posting for an Operations Clerk and received same exact email as Hey. Definitely a scam. No reputable company would ask you for identification and bank information via email and never interview you. Scary! In this economy, some people are desperate and might fall for this. Let's hope they google the phone number and see all these posts. Unbelievable!

I too received an email from David Jones.

The first one I received was to futuristicmisses@yahoo.com. That is not my email. I wrote him back as to why it came to me with the wrong email address. The reply he sent was to the to my real email , which he got from my reply questioning him on why I received it in the first place.

his answer..said he just received my resume and thanked me for my interest. As I am looking for a job, I thought I may have sent one.

I didn't answer back for a couple days. He contacted me asking if I was interested in working and the vacancy was open. I filled out the application and sent it in . Next and latest email.. the congratulations email and attached Employment agreement, bank form and wanting a copy of my ID, passport or DL.

I have printed out all correspondence and forms and I am taking them to my local police to have it checked out. This way if they are a scan/fraud others in my area will know about it and not be mislead.

I must be one of the few who did not receive a phone call.

Attached to the e-mail was a bank account form similar to what Boomer received, at this point it was obviously a scam. I told them I would need to talk to someone from the company about the job before sending my banking information anyway just to see what they would say. Here is the horribly written e-mail that was sent to me:

I first received an email on 4/12 stating he (David B Jones) was a rep for Thompson LLC and had a part time job available. If I wanted to be considered I should email my resume and contact info to his email. Not thinking anything of it since I am currently looking for work and get these emails on occasion.

When I read the "job description" and application (sent in an email on 4/16), I noticed the wording was unprofessional and looked strange which made me suspicious. Glad I decided to look into this further but wished I done so before sending my contact info.

same ph # but I noticed the email address is different than the 1st one ("d.jones@thompsonllcmails.com) and shows his name as David J (jobs.thompson@yahoo.com)
