For those called by this number, the call is from ICC - Investors Capital Corporation.  This is a chop shop brokerage firm, and you got called by their New York office.

The names of the brokers in this group are Andrew Parisi, Jim Ignatowich, Robert Estevez, Mike Murphy, Jeff Glosik, Brian Thompson, and Paul Cammareri.   The last brokerage these guys were at got shut down by FINRA and the SEC (If you want more stories about these guys, just look up 646 722 8126, 646-722-7770, and 646-722-7784, and 646-448-3535).  As you will be able to see, they harass secretaries all day long.  They sell bonds that were bought for a lower price some time ago, and are quite risky.  They also sell risky, thinly-traded stocks.

Jim Ignatowich's market knowledge does not run very deep.  His strength is sales.  He got wiped out, and wiped his clients out, on tech stocks 10 years ago and he also lost a lot of money on real estate this decade.

Their source is no more than the Martindale Lawyer Directory.  They often call multiple attorneys at the same firm on the same day, often within five minutes each other.  They really think personal assistants are not smart enough to see through their lies.
