I am an attorney pursuing CRG (Credit Recovery Group), learned very quicky thay the name I had to use for this lawsuit was PnL Agency L.L.C. the reason the owner uses 3 names and does not provide physical address is to prevent anyone from locating him for lawsuits or F.T.C. shutting them down. For everyone's info these are valid debts, the ammounts are very wrong, we learned that the owner applies any figure that he feels necessary to make him more money generally the figure we notice applied to many of these purchased debt os approximately $750.00-$850.00 keep in mind this is completely illegal. A friend of mind gave me this number today 800 943 1302 I have not called because want to do some reseach first. He signed up today for one time fee of 99.00 and in 90 days he will have 720 at longest it will take is 6 months. Is that the same spill you guy got. It sounds impossible to fix bad debt that fast. Need feed back...oh he also learn of them through an ad on the radio has any one contacted the radio station for info or help

Please call the FTC if you gave this company money. The Credit Repair group.  It only takes a couple minutes.  It was truley fast.  Once enough people call about this group the faster they will start a law suit.  Please take 2 minutes and call. 877-382-4357. When it asks what you are calling to start a claim for press 3. If you press 2 it will transfer you to the cfpb which is not the right people to talk to

I too have paid for this service with The Credit Repair Group (CRG) last October (2012) after going to a seminar at the Long Beach Marriott that was hosted by Ray Reynolds, the suppose-to-be owner of the company.  Things were going well and my credit score has changed for the better but not quite what they state (720 or better in 90 days).  It has now been 9 months.  I have been trying to contact them for the last two months leaving message after message for an account status with no return call or email. Today I attempted to try again with no luck. I have literally called 7 different phone numbers that is suppose to had been connected to CRG to be told that the Credit Repair Group no longer is in service and my accout was closed three months ago!!!  The company that answers mostly, now is "Consumer" Repair Group which has the same abbreviation of CRG and I believe this is the same company under a new name and is requesting people to resign up with them for a new charge otherwise they cannot help you!  These two companies share the same phone numbers as well as email addresses.  I called the Federal Trade Commission today to add my name to the existing complaint against the Credit Repair Group but did not have a reference number to give them so they took my complaint in addition to that one.  If anyone else is interested in filing a complaint against this company for the same issue, the ref# is 47256304.  Good Luck!!!!

I really think that if most of you would stop calling back this company you would stop receiving calls. I am a existing customer of the consumer research group and i am doing great. i had like 3 negative accounts on my credit report faxed my paperwork and received my updates on my email and closed my account after my credit was fixed. easy as that. but most of you seem to hold some type of ugly grudge against these people.

Credit Repair Company called signed up for services and 6 months later my score was 560 to 670. Took off my collections and charge offs. Satisfied but disappointed in customer service.

Actually, if you have told them to stop calling, they MUST stop calling or else they become liable for fines for ignoring your request.  Also send them a cease and desist letter via certified mail/return receipt/signature required so that you can go after them if they continue to call after receiving this letter.

So the credit repair group did go out of business. and the consumer research group was the one taking care of all the clients from the credit repair group. the credit repair group had some difficulties and cut ties and decided to dump the load on these poor people. I get numerous calls everyday. I just ignore them really.

Called me a couple times after I gave in, my credit has been bad. So i just signed up and went with there services. its been a couple months now and my credit has been fixed like literally i dont know how they did it but they did. its just they took a whileeee but well worth it..

I was put on the Do-Not-Call List weeks ago and I still receive calls on my home phone and Cell phone.  It's a major inconvenience.  I called the number given above (714) 823-4540 and got through to Consumer Research Call Center, 1119 N Main St Unit A, Cleburne, Texas, 76033.  When I google map that address it does not look like a legitimate call center business.  I was told that the Credit Repair Group was out of business.... and there was no CA address anymore.  I would like to seek damages, under the federal do not call law, for each time they called after I was put on the Do not call list...but they are a tricky company to get a hold of.  I don't know where they are registered... but be assured that if you wanted to give them your money they would have a merchant credit card processing account...  any ideas anyone?

this number called me for credit restoration. my credit was pretty messed up so i signed up. it took this company like about 6 months to get my credit up to a high 750s. and i managed to buy a house and take out a loan. i feel sorry for the people that say this is a scam. i really think its the lack of customer service lots of people fear. but it isnt a scam they really helped me. maybe you can try calling back and try getting more information! good luck

Credit repair company that wont stop calling, even though you tell them to stop doing so

within last 24 hours alone, The Credit Repair Group has called from 800-790-3520, 206-397-1697, and 714-823-4540.  They will not go away

this company is a total scam! 99 dollars to fix your credit! it's all lies 3 years later and nothing happen they really suck! and now they are changing there name

I have logged an "official" complaint with the  https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ link with this company. And yes the catch 22 issue is a loop hole here in Colorado. Because I called them to tell them to stop in the past 30 days I have an  "established business relationship" with the company accoring to Colorado Law. So it's OK for them to call me. Another law to protect the "criminals"!!!!!!!! F****ng Liberals Californicating another Western State!

I receive calls from this number every day! They are "robo calls" and they leave me a recorded message in my voice mail when I do not answer. The messages are usually outdated, i.e. Take advantage of our Black Fridya special and it's June.

I have called twice and asked to be removed from their list. The first time the CSR repeated my cell phone number back to me and then hung up on me. The second time, the CSR asked for my number, apologized and then said he would be adding a $5 charge to my phone bill and hung up on me! Whoever this company is - they are a horrible waste of space. I'm sick of these calls and will not stop until they are prosecuted or punished in some way.

I called the number back to have my number removed (I'm an office manager, and this is a BUSINESS LINE!).  After two days of STILL receiving phone calls from the number, I called BACK to scream at them... I was told that each time I call I re-register my phone number.  Then the rep hung up on me!! I don't think they've taken it off their list to begin with, because I'm STILL receiving at least 2-3 calls a day from this number.  MAKE IT STOP!  I'm taking the advice of someone else and contacting FCC.gov and the Do Not Call Registry

Same here, I get calls from them often. I finally got ahold of a lady there and I told her to remove my number from their list. She asked if I wanted my credit fixed. I told her no, I have good credit. So she replied, ok let me get your email address and I will send you an email confirmation. HAHA. NO WAY I told  her, then she would be blowing up my email address also. I added my number to the do not call list last wekk, but they are still calling me this week. Go figure. Wish they would stop!
