I got the same text for something I was selling as well.  He actually sent me a cashiers check from Deans Foods for $1940.00.  The item I was selling was for $150.00.  Haha.  This is a total scam.  Be careful with this.

I received a text from this person trying to buy a Bow Flex from me. I am in TX and the number shows up as a Philly /NY.  Insisted on paying through cashier check and once it cleared a courier would pick up item.

This person tried to contact me after a craigslist post. Demanded to send me a cashier's check in the mail and after cleared payment would arrange for "collections" It threw me off because not only was it not local to me in Florida but also because they never even wanted to look at the items. They were just ready to purchase sight unseen. Be careful!

Same here literally just texted me about a 5 foot standing metal giraffe. Saying he'd take a certified check. which made no sense because hed have to pick it up. and i am in florida.

I got a text from this number in response to a wedding dress I was trying to sell. Total scam artist.

This man was attempting to buy a kayak from me. I received a text from him and the area code is New York, I am in San Antonio and the wording in reference to payment and receipt of item sounds odd. Do you mind telling me about your contact with him? Thanks

Be carefull   A scam artist. Very good one but still a scam artist
