Just received the same texts to buy my car. Deleted the messages!

Thankyou for posting this I almost fell for this. Same exact scenario he also told me he would send a shipping company to pick up my car shame on this Steven Johnson character.

Same thing happened to me just today 8-22-2013 he wanted me to send paypal info he was rushing me and very much in a hurry. So I got my account set up done and never heard from him since 7:00 am this morning it is now 4:00 pm feeling let down. And it seemed so real also named Steven Johnson. Please beware and don't make my same mistake!!!!!!!

SCAM!!!! just received a text for an item i had on craigslist!! do not reply

Wanted to buy a car I posted on Craigslist. Told me that he was ready to pay immediately just to send PayPal info. Said he'd have a shipping company get the car. Was super sketchy.

Do not pick up. This is not a buyer for your product you are trying to sell online. its a Scam

BEWARE  BEWARE --- THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM.  I received a series of emails from this number on my Craigslist ad from a guy identifying himself as "John from NY".  When I called the number a I got an automated screening answering machine for "Steven Johnson".  In the emails he wanted to buy an item that was too heavy to ship using Pay Pal and he wanted all kinds of personal banking information so he could send me the purchase money.  I wish I had a way of finding this guy so I could make a "personal delivery".

I also received a phone call from this number regarding an item on Craigs list. not sure yet if this is a scam or not but am investigating.

I received a text about an item listed on craigslist--I am sure its some nigerian scam.
