Picked up but nobody on the line. When I receive calls without someone on the line, I wait a couple of seconds then PUT THEM ON HOLD. If they pick up, they get a little taste of their own medicine (no one on the line to respond to them). If they are getting charged for the actual time they are connected, the hold time will added to their bill:-)

I got a call from this number shortly after adding a business account to Google. The lady was checking that I was in the correct category and tried keywords as well. She did not ask for money and I wasn't asked for any personal information. It seemed like they wanted to verify that a business owner answered the phone number. I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss these calls. I'll report again if I get more calls. If i was indeed duped, they're good, very good.

It's not even Google it's some a** saying they work for Google, I bought a call blocker a few months age I must have a 100 BS google numbers in it by now.

Just because they SAY they're with Google doesn't mean that it's true....these calls are SCAMS. We also have listings with Google but they do NOT call and hang up on us. The scumbag scammers do.

One rarely knows who is really calling these days, do we? Zimbabwe Lottery, Swiss Mega Lottery with a Russian I.P. address or a local phone or listing scam. Pretty annoying. Don't get scammed by anyone who says they are from Google. Happens all the time.
