Called asked for a price on 09 toyota camry brakes and when i asked if there was number to call them back at with an estimate the guy said "uh yea hold on" and Hung up freaks i guess

This is a creepy bunch of folks. Asked what my hours were and if I was a mechanics shop. Then just hung up. WTF?

I didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up and did a Google search.

Received two calls from Asian sounding woman asking if I did full body massage. I said no and asked where she got my number from. She hung up.

Yeah.  This confirms my belief of NEVER answer the phone with the number that I don't recognize.  Anyway, its has won its place in my blocked-list; additionally, it added it to the SPAM list with all other apps.

Just received a call from this number on our business phone. Was out of the office at the time so it went to voice-mail. Retreived message was just a loud background noise, sounded like a machine running or road noise. The interesting part is that while 646-480-7419 showed up on the caller ID, the digitally generated info on the voice mail said the call came from 631-410-6782. Researched that number on this site and came up with very similar results. Strange.

I didn't answer the phone because it was an out of state number. When listening to the message, 3 of them was from a woman who was speaking way too fast to understand who they were calling from /about and the last message there was no message at all. I could hear breathing and then dial tone. In the first few messages they sound very urgent and as if I'm needing to call them back (I could relate it sounding like a bill collector) and the last message was just creepy which is why I looked them up on google.

That isn't what causes echoing.  Echo suppression can be frustrating to get working at times.  All you are experiencing is someone whose VOIP setup is not well configured.  It has nothing to do with whether or not they are recording you.

And recording the call isn't necessarily illegal.  Depends on where the parties are.  Single party consent laws are pretty common, and in truth, they should be universal.  It is, in fact, the default under Federal law, but states can be more restrictive.

called my business cell without leaving message.  i called back and heard a very odd message - one male voice, then a computer distorted female voice.  what is up with this!?!

this number has been calling all week long asking for prices on different services we offer and then just hangs up.

They just called me asking if I do waxing & prices.. as soon as I tried to answer her questions, she hung up.  Assuming she got my number off my website?   What's their purpose?

got a call from a guy looking to make an appointment asking what my hours are and of that hung up.  call the number back and it is a very strange message  .  Seems to be some type of scam.

Second time today someone called  from that number.   They ask all kinds of questions.  When confronted, they say the'll call back(?@#!?)

received 4 calls wanting to know business hours, fees, email and cell phone numbers.  Gave business hours and prices only and offered to schedule an appt but they hung up.  First call was from a male and last three calls from a female looking for a day spa.

This number has been reported to the fetch and the FBI if you receive any calls from this number let them know
