This thief is texting me wanting to buy my boat. Also wants to arrange payment through PayPal. He says he's out of town. This is 100% SCAM!! This is the 2nd person trying to this since I posted my boat on craigslist 3 days ago. Lots of thieves out there. Seller beware!

wow I am glad that I found this. this guy started texting me this morning about buying my Harley for his cousin. he is also wanting to use paypal and said that he would pay for and arrange all shipping. thank yall for sharing now I know for sure that this is a scam. helped me, hope it helps others!

guy says he wants to buy my car for his nephew ..... says can't pay up front not in town so suggests pay pal..... I'm thinking awesome pay pal sure why not... well I get an email saying that I've received the payment only its pending and I need to pay shipping fees for the car up front thru western union....... to somebody in CHINA...... and only then will payment be released???? says it will include reimbursement for the shipping fees he wants me to pay....... been getting text since yesterday...... what do ya think ppl? Yep same here....... Total Scam!!!

Got a text from this guy too! Scammer. He said he was out of state and could not call because his boss does not allow personal calls. www.whitepages.com on a reverse phone lookup shows it is VOIP.

OMG! This guy is texting me now regarding my dining room set I'm selling! He tells me he works for Turner Construction and is out of town, and wants to purchase it as a surprise gift for his wife! Glad I googled his number!

this scam is about 30 messages into it, and off the first one realized just how bad this person wanted to send through paypal, this seems to be way to easy on paypal for someone to get away with this scam, I'm sure paypal doesn't appreiciate this or their clients but if paypal is using this as a certified way of payment maybe we need to make it an obligation of paypal to pay for damages because they are the parent company products and money go through.

Someone from this number tried to scam me through a van we had for sale on craigslist. It is the newest scam using pay pal! Beware! The whole thing did not feel right. Glad I dug deeper and followed my gut!
