I just got three calls on my cell phone today. First one from 610-886-1205 from "Officer Victor Logan". Next two calls were from "Officer Daniel Stewart" from 646-484-8982. When I returned the call, I got the same threats as the discussion thread for 610-886-1205. Supposedly I owe $300 for a payday loan I've never had, and they were sending someone to arrest me because three felony charges were filed against me, including check fraud and money laundering. I kept arguing with him, and demanding verification, and he finally hung up. But the freakiest thing was that he has my correct name, address, and social security number.

I had a voice mail from officer Joseph at 646-484-8982 telling me to call him on a time sensitive matter. As soon I Googled that number I knew it was an entity in New York trying to collect on one of my PayDay loans. If they call again I am going to file a Police report and notify the FTC (Federal Trade Commision). The would get better results if they sent a bill like Speedy Cash PayDay loans does.

I just got the call today from this scam saying my lawyer needs to call them. I didn't even bother to answer my phone cause it shows up as 0000. I take all the numbers they leave on my answering service and google them I've had three different calls so far do they really think we won't catch on to them.

Just want everyone to know that if this person calls you again report it to your local police department.  My local police are trying to track this guy down.  Collect as much information you can when this guy calls.  If enough people let their local police know maybe they can track this nut case down.

I have also recieved this phone call several times.  Today he wanted my account numbers I told him I was not going to give them to him.  Cannot wait for him to call me back so I can tell him off.  Thanks for the info.

All I received the same call.  They even left an idiotic message.  Please report to Federal Trade Commission and to your credit bureaus to protect yourself

When I contacted my lawyer they indicated that

"These calls are absolutely illegitimate and scam companies calling at random to every other person in the neighborhood. If you receive further calls from them, tell them to get lost because you have got your phone tapped and every word they are speaking is getting recorded for legal escalation".  

These people have called other employees at my job and continue to do so!

Thanks for the input.  Same thing has been done to me they told me they would come to work to arrest me.  This is a bunch of crap.

These people have called my daughter, my special needs daughter and my best friend today. They told the special needs daughter the police were coming to get me!!! Dear Lord what terrorists they are to do that to someone who has no idea what kinda crap they are telling her!!!  I DO NOT OWE any money for any payday loans I do not have a checking account in order to get one!!! Both my friend and other daughter told them to quit harassing them or they would report them for it!!
