they said i had a loan out. I told them that was two months ago and was paid in full already. They didnt know what bank I had used, how much the amount was for, when it was taken out.

I told them that if they believe I did not pay in full they should mail me a certified letter. They told me I had to speak with them. I told them "I dont think I have to do anything" and hung up.

It is a scam.  He calls me every couple of months and it is a magic jack phone number. He tries to act very bully -ish. I usually don't answer, but if I do, I hang up when I realize it it him. I wanted to block him but my phone company will charge me for that. I know it is a scam, because I do not have an outstanding balance on any loans. Some people need to find better things to do!!!!!

How do I get these scam artists to quit calling my job!!! ugh! It's so annoying and every message that I've read on this board is the same exact things that have been happening to me.

Hi, Everyone please be aware this is a HIGH FRAUD ALERT case. Report it to your bank and FBI fraud department. They are calling from a Magic Jack number. Tell them to hold while you get the person they need to speak with, then call your local police department. That will get them to stop. If they hang up, keep calling them back, eventually they will block your number & ask why you're harassing them ... LOL

Hey guys. it is 10/12/2011 and the time is now 1729hrs, 0529pm, central. i just got a phone call from 646-499-6419. Someone on the other end when i picked up posed as "Officer David Johnson" of the Federal Investigations Dept, looking for my wife. As her husband naturally i was concerned, but when this "officer" began to become stunned and shocked i guess that his very phone call would be questioned, and his instructions not immediately followed. He gave me the above listed phone number for his return call information. wow am i glad i took the offensive instead of giving in, and researched the phone number. however i will give some more help, another number this joker uses is 661-752-6561. this number comes up with no listing, and is out of Rosamond California. and the caller is usually a middle eastern, or indian man with a very bad accent that is hard to understand. (believe me ive tried) this individual is rude, and has threatened my wife. and when this joker calls he complains that we owe cash advance places an enormous sum of money, the first company he tried to use was, Payday Cash, the other was Advance America. (yes he tried to use a different company out of stupidity, or was so dumb he forgot what he said the first time) We have been in contact with both of these loan providers, neither of which has filed lawsuit against her or myself. nor have they heard of us before this. so to the jerk calling and making the lives of innocent persons miserable i say this: I hope you sleep well at night with your head on your pillow, i hope when you look at your self in the mirror you see only the deeds you have done to hurt persons that have done no wrong to you.

I just got a call from this number and some guy with a very thick Indian accent left a voice mail saying his name is John William (yea right!) and that my husband's social security number had been used for bla bla bla (couldn't understand most of what he said.) Before I even listened to the message I checked the number on this site and saw that it was a scam. Though honestly, even if I hadn't checked on here I think I'd have suspected a scam, because really, the name and the accent did not go together lol. Also, I don't really think any identity thieves would be doing themselves a favor using my husband's social lol. Our credit is terrible and we are broke.

These people are crazy. They call all day long no matter what you say.  I told them they are breaking the law by stilling call my work # and by calling after they leave a message. They are not very good at trying to get money this way. I hope no one falls for this scam.

They call my job. Says his name is Michael Jones and that I owe them money. Scam!!!! I told him I would have the police call him, he said fine knowing the number they call from does not accept incoming calls. He couldn't explain why the number is all over the internet as a scam!!!

I received another call from these people claiming to be from the FDIC. When I asked him why the same people continue to call me and claim to be from different agencies he tried to play it off like he didnt know what I was talking about. I know for a fact it is the same people because it is the same horrible accent and broken english. This time when I called him out on his lies and told him to stop calling me and hung up on him, They called back but it was not the same guy. This guy said "Listen to me you mother fu**er". "30 years ago I fu**ed your daddy" when I laughed hysterically at the thought of him F***ing my dad he became really angry and said "I f***'d your mother and then you came out". So naturally I thought I would antagonize him a little more and see how long it would take for him to hang up. I said so 30 years ago you F***ed my mother and I came out. He said yeah thats right. I said thats funny because I look nothing like you sound. Which really pissed him off. he said some more things that I could not understand. "he then said he was going to come to my house with all his friends and rape my wife while I watched and there was nothing I could do about it" I told him to come on over and we would make a party out of it. He soon hung up after calling me a few more derogitory names. He never did show up.

Got that same call from "Alex Scott". I shoulda clued in that his name was very "AMerican" and yet he sounded like he was from the other side of the world. I promised to make payments, but didn't and never heard from them again

I just started getting calls from this number after dealing with Alex Scott from UNLD and David for United Cash Advance. They are scams. They won't tell you the name of the company, they won't give you to a supervisor, they won't e-mail or mail you the documentation on the "case" until you make a "small" payment to a Wal-Mart green dot card or a pre-paid credit card. I have become very ignorant with them and left blazing messages on their "voicemails" with recorded rap lyrics from numerous "gangsta rappers"!!!

I have received several calls from this number and have actually taken notes and caught them in several lies. I got a call from them today saying that they were with the Federal Investigation department. They gave me the same old song and dance and when I called the guy out on other lies in the past he hung up on me. I know its the same guys because its always the same horrible accent. He always says that I have a lawsuit against my name and social security number from US cash advance. I don't know how I could since I have never done any kind of a payday loan.

I am receiving phone calls from this number, along with my work.  My work is receiving up to15 - 20 calls a day.  The person on the other end doesn't speak good english and has cussed out my supervisor.  They threaten me with being arrested and have all my important information. It is becoming a real problem.  If anyone knows how to stop these harrassing phone calls please help.  I have contacted the police, FBI, States Attorney and so on.

they started  calling me and harassing me saying they are the federal investigations department and they are bugging me saying there going to get me with fraud on my ssn number and trying to get me to pay them and its all a scam they need to get these people cause they have my ssn and. but please people dont fall for it and dont give them any money

I get a call claiming they are a federal agent claiming I owe uscash advance money. I knew didn't have a low.with them. I called FTC to report this fraudulent call and they told me to ignore the calls
Mow my husband gets a call at. They tell him I'm going to prison, that this is now a crime screen.I'm soooo angry that they're putting my family through. this!

Has been calling three times a day for the last two weeks. Caller was looking for Jenny Castillo. I informed caller, who barely spoke English, that he had the wrong number. He argued with me and called me a liar. I then told caller that I was filing a report with the US Attorney General's Office and the Federal Trade Commission. Has not called since.

Just another scam. It goes on and on. I have been getting thes phone calls for 8 months. Usually it happens once a month and then it goes away. Then like magic they start up again. I have also now started getting scam phone calls from the British Virgin Islands. They just don't stop. Oh! Yeah! Don't ever call the British Virgin Islands. You can rack up a big phone bill, I didn't do it but I have seen reports about it.

They are calling my job everyday...I want it to stop...how do I stop it?

They just called my work place today.  I don't know what's going on with that!  When I called the number back, it said they were not available and that the message inbox was full.

I received these calls no stop for a couple of months every day three or four times a day same as Dwb.  THey threaten to have you arrested and everything.  My calls are verbatim dwb's calls.  I contacted local law enforcement who told me under no uncertain terms to answer the calls or call them.  IT is a scam and not to answer them.  I just received my second call today.  Thank god for caller id as I will not answer my phone unless I recognize the number.

Alex Parker (notice others are saying Alex Scott) called from the Federal Investigations Dept.  saying that my friend or relative (my husband's name) has committed online fraud bearing my ssn.  I blocked my number and called them back and he refused to speak to me because I refused to give him anything other than my name.  He hung up on me the 1st time.. the 2nd time he yelled at me and told me to never call him again.  He refused to give me a supervisor or to fax me the information concerning the case.

a guy from this number ,his name wasdavid johnson jr from the federlal investigation dept call me,my girlfriend and her mother tell them they need to pay 600+ money to a cashnet.com. i've never heard of them. when i asked him to send me some info he hung up
