Received call from this number wanting to buy jewellery, then I got a call saying he was too busy to mail it himself. I said no thanks.
Here is the text:I work for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and presently am in New York and i want to purchase this item for my pastor son as agift in Lagos, Nigeria and i will like you to help ship the package to him, My shipment method is USPS EXPRESS MAIL and i will payfor the cost of shipment fees  including all extra charges, I use Western Union or PayPal for payment because it's more secure andsafe to me

I'm n Texas, that same person said their name was Jill Pilarcik and owned a townhome in Plano, and that her and her husband were missionaries and they currently in Alabama and was looking to rent out they home...ended up being a scam now im out of $950 and they won't send it back

i was contacted by somebody pretending to be the owner of the house and tried to get me to buy the house from them...ended up being a scam for real

Same thing was on craigs list found this to good to be true and sadly it was:( He was trying to rent me a house in golden, co for $1200....Thought something was fishy for one his name was Mike Sellers just found that a bit ironic and when he got back to me via text he did so at 4am..if he was from colorado and living as a missionary in one of the Carolinas shouldn't he know the time zone difference...

WOW!  So glad I decided to google the phone number.  I'm in Colorado and saw this house for rent on Trulia.  I inquired and this person:  Dorothy Morison, via email, explained that she's a Missionary and wants to rent her house.  I was so excited.  I asked tons of questions like:  why can't you call me?  tell me a little about yourself?  why is there a For Sale sign in the yard?  This scammer is in the process of sending me an address to forward deposit and rent.......yeah, right.

Almost was scammed into sending money via Western Union for a rental property in Maryland.  Said they were missionaries looking to rent out their house. I googled the number and came to this website. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost fell for this scam in Portland, Or.
Do not trust this number. When in doubt, google the first few words of a suspicious email. They're usually all scripts.

Person texted me about a motorcycle I had on Craig's List - I live in MT the person said they were in VA and wanted to meet - When I asked how they were going to do this? They asked if they could call, then said I would be getting a message through CL to verify if "I" was real - Total Scam

Aboslute scam,and I almost fell for it. I plan on contacting that real people that own the house that I was almost scammed on

Scam artist trying to rent out properties that are for sale by owner. Has used criags list to post these adds. Is very persistent, says they are a missionary out of the country, and asks that deposit be wired via Western Union prior to you seeing the property
