Same here.  Mine said he was David Dawson:  wanted to buy my craigslist posted mini cooper.

got a email stating that his name is david dawson wanting to know if I take Pay Pal, he wanted to buy my classic boat.

Sent a text about a horse I have for sale on craigslist used the name Fredrick Dawson and phone # of 646-504-4683 used the gift stuff and wanted to do paypal and wanted to know my final number I told him no paypal only US cash but he is still trying to text me. The first thing they asked was want my name was nothing about the horse??

Received text about camper I posted on Craigslist wanting to buy as a gift and pay w pay pal told him I will only accept cash and he has no longer responded said his name was Fredrick Dawson

This person identified himself as Frederick and wanted to buy my junk car as a gift with Paypal. Yeah right! Scammer!

Just got the text from Fredrick Dawson and he would like to buy my car on Criaglist and uses pay pal acct. Scammer!!

Andrew dawson wanting to buy my boat, same story. Wanted paypal account, as a gift and couldn't talk on the phone bc he is deaf. What a joke.  Kept pushing paypal onto me. The number was a Google number. 501 313 1147

Got the same text from him wanting my pay pal information over craigs list.  He told me he was deaf and could not talk over the phone, and was buying it as a gift for someone

Got a series of texts from "Andrew Dawson" at 8325546027 regarding a truck posted on Craigslist. Wanted to buy it as a gift, wanted to pay via PayPal, movers would be picking it up and wanted my Paypal account info. What a scam...

called re a boat for sale on craigs list,  wanted to pay via paypal said his name is jeff dawson

Still trying to scam today...Andrew Dawson, Am from NY, I am deaf, I will not be able to receive calls or call, I can only text you.

Asked him whether I should call him Jim Potter, Chris Dawson to Andrew Dawson...suspect I won't hear back.

Good thing I looked this up, my dad was trying to coordinate this with this number, I will avoid

Recieved texts from 8325546027, Andrew Dawson.  Claims he wants to buy my golf cart through pay pal.  Said he couldn't talk over the phone because he was deaf.  He says he wants to buy it as a gift to someone.

Just received a text from an Andrew Dawson.  Tried to call his phone #, but no answer.  For a text right back from him that he is deaf & cannot receive phone calls!!  Wanted to know what the final amount I would take for the RV I just posted on Craigslist.  Says he would be paying full price through PayPal and it was a gift for someone!  After I told him my husband is a US Marshal, he didn't respond anymore!

Same here he's been contacting me since yesterday for my iphone5 that I posted on Craigslist and wants to pay 100 more than what I'm asking for so I can ship 2 day express.

Received a text from this number asking to buy my Jet Ski I have listed on Craigslist. Claime his name is Andrew Dawson and wants to by the Jet Ski to give as gift but wants to pay through pay-pay. I figured it was a scam and replied to text that only CASH would be accepted. I'm glad I came here to confirm that this is a scam. I just don't know how to report him to the FBI. Anyway, stay away from the scammer!!!

his real name is mike bowen aka sergeant mike, his accomplice is alias Kelley they are from Addison ,tx his email is mikebowen1001@yahoo.com look him up. he is being looked at by the fbi so if he tries to contact you again file a complaint with them . I did . hopefully we can gets this clown locked up.

said his name was Andrew dawson  yesterday 6-7-2013. asking about my horse . these are all alias . this guy is being looked at by the FBI. he based out of Addison, tx. he also uses Theresa gleave and says shes from Wyoming but has a new jersey number. I advise you to call the numbers and youl find out that the number belongs to another person that has no idea what your talking about. this guy hacks their phone numbers and texts you through them.

Same number tried this on me as I was selling my car.I do accept Paypal but quickly realized the texted questions were trying to obtain personal info. Avoid this number. It is from NYC.
