I received 3 calls from these turds today (different number but same area code and prefix: 646-504-0732. I don't remember the persons name but I believe it was because I did not let him get that far.

Soon as I heard the acccent and them saying I was being sued, the 4 letter words came out of my mouth like a running faucet.
I am sure I could have handled that in a more mature way, but I work all day and the last thing I need to hear is someone who is clearly from outside the US calling themselves Mark, Leroy or some other american name telling me I am being sued.
Best advice is just hang up or be super D duper rude and they will move on to someone else. I honestly do not believe they can be stopped all together.

I too am receiving calls from this number.  Jason Kennedy, with a thick middle-eastern accent, telling me that I owe over $5000 but they will settle for $1900...  Asked for attorney information and told me that he was sending investigators to my home or office.  He is now calling me at work and home multiple times daily!   When I ask for information about the alleged debt all he will tell me is that he is calling from Office of Corporate Affiars and collecting a debt for Cash Partners of America.  Anyone know how to stop this harassment?

I just got a call at my employment, saying they needed the name of my attorney blah blah, I just hung up.  Not sure what to do.  I contacted our local DA and Police Dept. they have no idea.  Call was from a Mike Davis...

I got the same call from a lady who I could not understand so she transfered me to someone else, who sad his name was Jason Kennedy. He said I got a loan for about $300 or $400 and I had to pay like $500.00 for like court fees or something. He said if I did not give him my lawyers information he was going to send someone to my house and job to serve me papers...

I am a little nervous but I am certain that this is a scam.

I just had the exact same call today at my place of employment from Kelly Ryan and she started off the call by telling me she needed the name and number of my atty. She also said something about the Department of Corporate Affairs???  Told me I was being sued for $5,484.87 for a payday loan from 1-2 years ago for a loan in the amount of $300-$400 from Cash Partners America.  What is scary is she confirmed my email address and the last 4 of my SS #, and home address.  She told me an investigator would pay me a visit tomorrow morning at home and work to serve me and my employer with court papers.  Same caller ID 0000 and thick female indian accent.  I have to say it really freaked me out until I read all the posts about this company.  UGH.....How can this be legal?

I got a call several times from this # and now they are harassing my coworkers I told them if they call my job one more time i am going to the local athuroties and I am getting the FBI involved and they havent called me since be sturn with them and cuss em out if you have to this is BS not sure how they retrive personal information about tus but big SCAM do not give out ur personal info.

Same routine except the thick accent (Marcus Brown) called yesterday and again today demanding I call him back and let him know who my attorney is.....The first time he called I hung up on him since he wouldn't answer any of my questions; who does he represent, what company does he work for and his reply was always the same "you need to talk to my boss"........So I hung on him.
He called right back and I of course was now upset and firmly told him to send whatever he's trying to say in writing.
Today we have a voice mail (same person) giving the same message - if I don't hear from you or my attorney, then good luck.
With three calls now and NO company name or reason for the call, it should fall under some ruling
to deter this idiot from calling again....it's harrassment no matter who they are and ultimately a scam of some sorts.  Anyone have a clue who we could call to file a complaint with?

Recieved the same message as everyone else. Could not give me any information as to when this loan was taken out or the amount. Caller stated that someone would come to my work place on Monday. Was very upsetting to get a call of this sort and no nothing about what they are talking about. Never got a pay day loan. These people need to be stopped.

voice mail caller ID 0000 from Kristy something, Indian accent same as about, There has got to be something that can be done to these people.  There are threating and harrassing.

Just got a voicemail from this woman, said her name was Kristen Allen, spoke with an Indian accent, sounded like she was reading from a script. Told me that if she didn't hear from me or my attorney immediately, that I would be in big trouble and she wished me luck.

I just received a call from someone (female, Indian accent) saying that I was being sued for a loan I did not pay back.  My called ID showed 0000 but she gave me the callback number, 646-504-7642.  At first, she told me I was being sued and she needed my attorney's name.  When I asked for the court location and time, she told me that she would have her investigator come to my house and job with the court information.  I told her she was crazy.  I don't owe anyone.  I tried calling the number back and it went to an answering machine - some law firm.  Don't fall for this.  They are trying to prey on the poor.

i received a call from some guy whom said his name was marcus brown, he had a very thick middle eastern accent saying that i need ot give him my lawyere name and number so we can resolve this matter........asked him what matter was he talking bout....he became very frustatrated and starte yelluing a bunch of bs.......told that guy if i owe any money...send me the bill to my house then i will go from there...the guy said im supposed to be in court tomorrow and he feel very very very sorry for me. lol

Just got a call from this same number.  Interesting because I just received a new cell phone, and the number they were calling was intended for the old owner of my current number.  Same story as above posts, I can confirm that this is a scam.  Do not tell them anything and simply hang up.

I was just reading the other people talking about someone calling stating that they were being sued by Cash for/of America.  I agree it think it is a scam. Look out for this number!!  They stated that everything could be handled out of court if 1,000 dollars could be paid today. If not you can handle it in court tomorrow.

I just got the same call and it was a lady called Shelly something.. Same story line as everyone else. This can't be real.

I got a call from this number as well, the person was hard to understand and his name was Kevin Peterson. It could be a made up name, but I figured it was a scam because a few months ago I got threatening calls from someone with an eastern indian accent like Kevin Peterson, about a payday loan that I already paid and have a letter from the actual collections agency.

We just got a call from this company as well. Saying we took out a loan between $200-$300 1-2 years ago. We most certainly have never taken a payday loan since they are illegal in our state. they did however have the last 4 digits of my bank routing number and acct number so i went and closed out the accts to be on the safe side. They tried to say it was ok to fax our bank info since they already had the accts numbers. Dont fax your info. I called the number and there isnt even a professional answering machine.

Received a message from someone who was very hard to understand.  Told me that if they did not hear back from me or my attorney, then all she could do was to "wish me luck."  Not sure what this number is or what they want, but hope that they do not call me again.
