its a legal firm i checked it

This company keep calling me at my work place his name is Jason Green keep on harassing and threatened me if i dont  pay them. I told them not to call my work and leave a message to my boss telling them i owe them money. when i speak them i talk to a guy whose accent is hard to understand and keep yelling oo the phone when i refused to confirm my ss# then told me i gonna be arrested for fraud. I already file a complaint to state general attorney in California and i did file a complaint to FTC hopefully they going to do something.

I received the same call Jenn did. Doesn't seem legit to me. Any ideas?

My sister is also getting harassing calls from this number. She's disabled and my father is fighting cancer. I "WILL" be calling New York City police to report this number to them!

Please be careful and do NOT give them any info about yourself. This is definitely a scam!!!!

I recieve threatening messages from this number kind of scary

Oh when My anderson called me this wasn't the first time. So I fought back by getting a number from him and I called him 10-12 times just asking for him until Mr Anderson pledded with me to stop calling them and they won't call me anymore. So far no calls for anyone in that office anymore

I just got off the phone with someone claiming that he is Officer Jeff Anderson and that he works for Legal Accounts Assoc. He kept threatening me saying I was going to be arrested and prosecuted on federal fraud charges for a online payday loan that was supposedly given to me. Yeah right "NOT TRUE." This Jeff Anderson sounds american right oh but this guy has a mid eastern accent. Not buying your story I started questioning him, he could not give me any information about me or about this so called loan but wanted me to give them them money today or I would be going to jail and or paying court fees in the amount of $6,000 to $7,000 dollars going to court. He kept insisting that I make a decision and give them money now so this would all go away. I know a few things about the law and this guy raised red flags like crazy.

These people harass me constantly. They have my social security number and other pertinent information
about me. They have told me similar things like I better get my Attorney because I am going to Court. I am a Paralegal so naturally I tell them I would want to see the summons delivered to my door and that they are "out of my jurisdiction" because the call  came from a New York  exchange and New York cannot extradite me there for  a debt charge. If they want to place  a lien against all my furniture go ahead because it's all I have. They can get in line or take a number! They cannot even garnish my wages because I receive SS Benefits. I'm virtually untouchable so no use calling but they call anyway.

This person also called my wife and after talking to him for like 30mins and him trying to get my wifes social security number, he hung up on me so I called him back and he told me not to call him again.

I just received a very urgent phone call asking for me or my attorney to call back immediately and if I do not, then good luck to me regarding the charges that have been imposed on me???

This company tries to extort money from people.  They claim you owe them and you're going to be arrested if you don't pay them.  They're harrass you endlessly.  The best thing to do according to if not pick up your phone and let it go to voicemail.  All I know is the company has people from India that claim to work for ACS.  They called me today and said they're a law office today.  Last week they were phony law enforcement.
