Same phone number same spill. Glad I searched the web for this phone number!!

Be aware of scamer asking for your paypal account info with this number 6465048721 As soon as we responded that he could go to our ebay ad, he  tried to convince us  to use our paypal account by saying "I too understand you and i just want you to know that PayPal is also like paying directly into your bank account I wish i could do a normally local pick up and face to face deal but presently am very busy and I have been using PayPal to buy and sell for years now and i have never for once had any problems whatsoever. "   So it seems to me that nobody has caught him yet.

I got the exact same text today for aboat I am selling.  1) are you first owner, 2) Let me know conditions, blah blah blah...  11/20/13.  I replied with a bunch of name calling and then posted the number of FB and asked my friends to all share it and call it and text it any time of the day as many tiems as they wish and sign the number up for text alerts or anything they can....

Been receiving several texts from this number and another from the same area code.  Always a busy woman and not able to do transaction in person.  I replied "sorry, only willing to sell for cash and in person deals" , stopped the texts from this person.  I wish these people would learn to earn their items the old fashion way.  Hard work and honesty

Set this scammer up with free internet wake up calls with different times and dates for the next few months lol

I set that number up for 12 different Internet wake up phone calls all at different times and dates..hahahaha

Same story selling a FatPipe Warp on CL, 3k. told her that her number pops up on google a lot. Still hasn't responded back. Also told her, With a valid email address I will invoice her, she can pay that way, once I verify the funds through paypal, and shipping costs, I will ship item. just got a bunch of ??? back.

Am selling cars on Craigslist. Received oddly worded messages asking about condition, saying that "He" was going to buy them and requesting my Paypal . My phone calls were not answered or returned 7-17-13

Yeah, I posted a SCAM Alert notice on CL with this number to hopefully protect others!

The jerk text me several times and asked questions about my CL post-- but the information was already on my ad, then he kept pushing PayPal-- I knew it was a scam because on my post I stated CASH Only.....

I posted a scam alert on CL with his cell phone-- notified other sellers about this scam. I hope you will all do the same to help protect others.

Same people (646-504-8721) still scamming as of 5/30/2013. I listed a walk in cooler about 3 days ago and like many received the same story, They will make payment via PayPal and have an agent pick up. I sensed a scam and sure enough. I have been having fun and toying back with them asking ridiculous questions for about 2 days now. They get quite angry lol... Be safe out there people thank you for this forum and remember always local always cash no need to heal a rash!

Just got a text from 646-504-8721 about a Craigslist posting.  Wanted to pay via Pay Pal.  I googled and found this page. I guess I will not sell to him.

Same M.O.  646/504-8721, 501/313-1147, and 901/800-9386 all sent texts re an ad on Craig's List.  All appear to be scams and I was went along for quit awhile.  I almost never text and my first time to Craig's list and Pay Pal.  I should have known better. Came close to being scammed.  Thanks for prior notes.

Me: I'm second owner, the first owner took good care of it. I replaced the front end: struts, ball joints, cv shaft, breaks, the back end as well breaks, rotors. Oil changed every month even though I usually do it every 2,000 miles. Has DVD/CD player, 160k. Has a scratch on driver side door but can easily be fixed but don't have a lot of time due to my job. Has a dent on back bumper. 40 in tires, 12 in lift.

Thanks to all of you who have listed on this forum.  Its really majic how we can go online ask a question and hear from people all over the country about their experiance with "particular" numbers.
I've been contacted by this number befor also, ITS A SCAM as we all know. Hopefully everyone from craigs list will learn to check up on the texts they get before they spend a lot of time. The "CASH AND CARRY & LOCAL" idea is great, thanks.

This forum is helps so much for us who sale on Clist. Ive had 2 people try and scam me THIS number JUST tried it and both times I was able to look up the number here.. Just a valuable tool. DONT STOP REPORTING!!

This is the first time I've tried selling something on craigslist. I recieved a text that reads like a foreigner would speak. They seemed happy with the price of my car and wanted to use pay pal. I told them I did'nt have a pay pal account but would be happy to talk with them about it. They sent me back a text instructing me on how to open a pay pal account.... Lol I asked them, would'nt you like to drive the car or at least ride in it. Got a text saying "Presently am very busy woman".  I asked for a name and she replyed "Cuty Becky" I told her I was reading about her scam as we speak. Hav'nt heard back yet. This is a very cool forum.  Thank you all for your comments. Just glad I googled their area code and this page popped up, otherwise I would have never known.

"Cuty Becky"?  I got a text message this morning for the motorcycles and coke machine I am selling.  Was very strange, so got to researching before sending any information. The person was not even interested in having us call to discuss the info on the items.  Was very strange.  Now I am just wondering where to report it.

Texted me...acted interested in the item I was selling.  Typed a strange  kind of broken english.  Wanted to know if I had a Pay Pal account.

I just got a text from cutybecky@yahoo. com.  Phone number of 562-567-7872.  I told them to go away as they have been reported to scam activity.

Was contacted through text to use paypal to buy an item at full price to be picked up by shipping agent. After seeing this site I called them out and threatened legal action. Still awaiting response. They used email cutybecky@yahoo.com

Fits the classic scammer story.  Claiming to be on petroleum rig and wants to pay through paypal ASAP.  What's the rush.  I would beware!

This number called me about  a car I had for sale. They wanted my paypal account so they could send me the money. Looked at the number online and saw this number was a scam artist.
