Scammer contacted me in response to a Kijiji ad in Canada

same here put in ad up on Craigslist and wanted me to ship my computer off then tell me it would be credited to my account

This his other number 678 667-8230 we been text each other almost an hr. Plan on buying somehow my mind halted me & say why he ask me to refresh my gmail and check in spam mail which meanain't we that dumb ???? don't think so....

Now I see I've been almost robbed whew !! Over my Nokia Verizon brand new mobile shipping to West Africa I was alike huh ?? where u at he out in ATL.. Come on what kind of games is he on ??

Same as other, seconds after posting my watch on kijiji, got a text from this number. Wants to send me the money via paypal. He want to pay 100$ extra for the shipping. Email: johntomson00@gmail.com...Wierd scam

seconds after posting my ad on kijiji, got a text from this number. same idea. wants to send me the money via paypal to ship the item. didn't get a name, but said he's in new york for business.

sorry don't feel comfortable now with giving my real name cause of this guy.  first he responded to an add on kijiji.....sent money western union just like you said above.   then i get an email from this guy name john as above   johntomson00@gmail.com replying to an add that I don't even have up.  I caught on to the scam right away

text msgs from this number responding to my kijiji ad. guy identified himself as John Tomson from the Australia Embassy. I texted him that I'm not comfy with this, but he begged me to send it claiming he would send the money prior to me shipping via Western Union. who does that???
