They keep calling me saying this is Jason Connor from DCA law firm and that I am the prime suspect regarding a case and that is I do not call him, in the morning I will be arrested. He tells me to return his call at 516-849-3117. He tells me at the endof the call that if I do not call he wishes me luck as a situation will unfold on me. Crazy man. I reported them to the Attorney General and saved the voicemail.

Altho i really think they are in pakistan or something disguising their numbers to look like ny as to support their play they are the law firm representing the dept of corp affairs only its CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND THE DEFEND CONSUMERS AGAINST A HOLES LIKE THEM OR AT LEAST R SUPPOSED TO.

Same thing here.  They screamed that my disability would be taken away.  I am a disabled vet, I don't receive s. security which they claimed would be docked.  I called the local police and they referred me to the FBI internet fraud division

When his phone rings he sees my number and doesn't answer "this is th DCA law firm" he says hello in an angry voice he has caller id he knows its me.

In fact before each call I think long and hard about if I were James Brown whats the worst thing someone could say about me or my family.... Then I unleash a viscious barrade of insults as many times as I can get through in my 40 mn drive to work.

Got the same calls. I went a different route. Ive called James Brown over a hundred times in the last 3 days and I call him Peggy like in the commercial. I insult his family, race, and religion to the furthest of my imagination. If anyone thinks I'm wrong and racist they can shove it. I'm exercising the same freedom of speech right they are. They are now telling me to stop calling. Screw these sand sucking a holes. I call them on my way to work, at lunch, and on the way home.

It seriously scares me that this is still going on. I have received very similar calls in the past and never gave in to them. There is no point in threatening them, they cannot be found, and they know it. Same thing just happened to me and I told him to go to hell after i wrote down all the information he gave me. I hung up and he repeatedly called me back 11 times in two minutes. I told him I am calling the police and he said he would see me in court tomorrow morning in NYC. I live in North Carolina. I'm sure I will not give him the pleasure of scamming me into this. These people have called me numerus times every couple of month to tell me that I owe different amounts each time. THEY ARE IDIOS!!!!!

Yea these people have nooo shame at all. They called my fiances phone saying there was a legal matter I needed to contact them about. I called them, and they gave me this story about how I took out a payday loan and never repaid it and that come monday at 11 am I would be arrested. I had issues in the past with my ex husband trying to get credit cards etc in my name, so initially I thought this could be legit, and I was crying because he was telling me I was being charged with fraud, theft, and something else. I was terrified and crying (and Im 7 months pregnant, and my 3 little ones were in the room with me). He said he was going to try to help me and ask the "restitution department" if they would be willing to let me pay to keep it out of court. He put me on hold, came back 2 minutes later, and said they would accept a payment. So now im thinking ok, you guys are going to send me some paperwork right? WRONG. They tell me to hand write a letter authorizing them to charge my credit card $945.32, OH and I have to give them all my credit card info in the letter, including billing address, and CVC code! Then he asks for it on the phone before you mail this "Authorization"...Well at this point I am thinking this is not right, a real company would mail me legit paperwork, so I say no and ask for the company I supposedly owe's phone number. He says he cant give it to me. And he keeps insisting if I dont send him my card information in 30 minutes, ill be arrested. When I ask him for more information about his company, He got very aggravated, and said they were the DCA law office located at 42 broadway NY,NY 10004...So as im speaking to him I googled it..BINGO!!!! SCAMMMMMMMM..told him what I was reading on the internet..he became highly pissed off and hung up, and when my husband got home and called them back to inform them an officer was on the way to our home and that if he ever called me and upset me that way again he would sue them, they "transferred" him and hung up..They are HORRIBLE PEOPLE WITH NO LIVES OR MORALS...I hope no one buys this..although I know there are so many unsuspecting people out there who dont know any better...it breaks my heart this is what we have to deal with these days..

I received a phone call at work yesterday from this Ben Foster.  I had no idea what it was for.  He was talking so fast and yelling at me, that I was hysterical.  While I was on the phone with him, everytime I would ask him a question he would just say i'm getting to that and never answer my question!  And then when I started getting mad at him he would say I would be summond to court and that I would have ruined my credit and work history.  Thank god I did not give him any of my information....The funny part was when i asked for a supervisor he hung up on me.  This guy is a scumbag.  He is a horrible human being and I only wish the worst on him.  I was so sick to my stomach yesterday because I didn't realize it was a scam until i came home later that night and my boyfriend told me that he had heard on the news this was a scam.  I'm reporting him to my local police station and giving them his phone #....The worst part about it is, thsi kid is a complete idiot...He still has the same phone#.  I feel for you all that had to go through that!

UPDATE: I took the call from them at 8 a.m. this morning and played into their game to get as much info as possible. They are reading from scripts, and if you ask them anything that goes off-script, they transfer you. I spoke to 3 people this morning: Louis Wilson, Heather Lawson and Ben Foster. In looking up Heather Lawson, I see complaints about this scam dating back to 2006!! Why can't we stop this?! This personal information should not be released when people apply for a payday loan.

When "Ben Foster" no longer felt like making up stories to answer my questions (such as "If this was in collections, why haven't I received a written notice within 5 days of initial contact, as per the law under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)?"), he said they would go ahead and process my file and we could deal with it at the courthouse on Monday. I sweetly answered "Oh yes, let's go ahead and do that." He was a bit surprised and then asked for my attorney's info, so I said "Yes, he definitely wants to talk to you" and gave him the info. Then I told him that we were aware this is a scam, that I have already reported him to the FTC and FBI, and that all calls were being recorded. I told him to never ever call here again or he would be the one showing up at the courthouse. I hung up. No callback yet. I am sick to my stomach with what these people are doing to scared, financially-strapped people.

My mom got calls from these jerks today. They terrified her. Luckily (and yet unfortunately) she is currently working with a lawyer and looking at bankruptcy, so she called him before she sent these scammers her first payment. She had a PayDay loan some months ago, and as far as she knew all of the payments had gone through. These unconscionable cretins told her that one of the payments was put through only one time months ago and did not clear, and that they had sent an email and since she didn't respond she is now looking at $5,000, and a felony arrest tomorrow. She has enough financial troubles going on that she thought it possible this might have happened, and so she was scared. They read to her her address and last 4 digits of her social security number. At first they had her speaking with a Louis Wilson, and when she asked to be transferred to a supervisor a Ben Foster got on the phone. (We lived in the Philippines for a few years and she is pretty certain that these particular men were Filipino, not Indian). They had the gall to tell her that not only did she need to fax them a letter authorizing them to deduct $500 from her account, but that she needed to ADD IN AN APOLOGY TO THEM. How dare they?! I am livid!!!

After her attorney told her not to talk to them, they called and left a message on her machine. This time Ben Foster called himself an ATTORNEY from DZA or DCA Law Firm, and said that if they didn't receive a fax with her letter authorizing them to deduct $500 by 5p.m., they would take legal action. Their number comes up as Unlisted, but the fax number that they gave is 315-849-3117, and "Ben" gave his "personal" callback number as 646-543-0291. After I heard the message, it reminded me of a news show I had seen some time ago that showed situations very similar to this, so I got online and started searching. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to post their stories!!!

I am reporting them to our state's Attorney General, and the FBI's and FTC's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). I am repeating this story on every complaint site that came up when I searched for this fax number (the phone number must be new because it didn't come up). I am doing this so that whenever anyone else searches for these numbers, many of these sites will pop up and relieve their fears. Please do the same. Keep listing all of the new numbers that these subhumans keep changing, and let's keep protecting each other and raising enough noise until these dirt bags are shut down permanently! They are taking advantage of scared and vulnerable people who are already in difficult financial spots.
