I received a text message from my Craigs List

Same as above posters. Selling a cell phone on CL, got same offer to add extra $100 to ship as well. Googled the email and it brought me here.

I sell my game on Craigslist. I got a text from the guy. He asked me if I still have it. I notice (646). At first, I think he is not from local which I live here. Then, I answered "yes". He texted me back in long message. WTF! He asked me for my info or other. Finally, I texted him and said F*** SCAM OFF!  That's it.

Don't sell to him. Don't give him from your info.  Don't trust him!!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!! Just stay away from the scam guy.

I am selling a tablet on Craigslist in Greenville, SC. I get a text saying he wants it shipped to Lagos, Nigeria, and that he would add an extra $100 for shipping and fees. PayPal account is wilsonmark52@hotmail.com.

Trying to sell my camera on craigslist. this guy texted me, and wanted me to send it to his nephew in west africa because he is on his honeymoon in Palm Beach  for three months and wanted to pay through pay pal. SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I have a want ad on Craigslist now this jerk is in Florida in his honeymoon. Want me to send my item which I don't even have a item a want ad. He said he will give me hundred dollars extra thru paypal Scam Scam Scam. Curse this jerk out.

I am selling a camera lens on Craigslist. Caller texted and asked: 1) if item was still available 2) my final selling price then proceeded to tell me that he is local but has to go to New York for the birth of his child but that he would like to buy my lens through PayPal for his nephew.

I was a little suspicious and looked up the number, turns out it was the number of a landline which makes no sense considering he was texting me.

Seems to me like it's a scammer.
