I did business with Bell Canada for a brief time so long ago ..they never refunded the monies they owe me in the amount of  13 dollars ? cents .They claimed they sent the cheque and stated that it showed on their file that I had cash it ..... that was a  bold - face lie  !!  If Bell Canada was the only provider of TV ..I would rather get a tv antenna then to deal with the likes of Bell !  I see iqor Canada is partners with Bell .. slime begets slime.

simply tell them you recently got your number and that the person they're looking for is not you(make up an alias name). no more calls

ditto to everything above.  They call continuously - sometimes more than 10 times a day starting at 7:00 AM and calling through till 10:00 PM.  There is never anyone on the line when I answer the call, they never leave a message, they just continually suck up my cell phone minutes.

calling 5-6 times a day starting at 8am, no one answers when you pick up. Have since blocked the number.

Started calling me at 7:30am and haven't stopped all day this is crazy

The only thing you have "ensured" is that more junky callers will pester you now that you've exposed your phone number in a message forum where any harvesting bot can find it. You may want to talk to Admin about a redaction.

No one else reading this page can cease the calling. These forums are strictly for call recipients to share their findings. They are NOT direct open channels to the phone bank boiler rooms we comment upon. This is something which was apparent to dozens of commentors before you, but you didn't bother reading those.

Your province should have its own set of debt collection laws which will help you control the behavior of your caller, which you must confront *directly* if you have a problem.

I also keep getting daily phone calls from Icor Canada. They had my name and said that I have outstanding parking tickets (which I do). Since I do not intend to pay them...I know they can't do anything and I know it does NOT affect my credit even if they lie tell me it will....anyways I just told them they had the wrong person. Even though they had the right person. They said they would stop calling. I guess I'll just have to wait and see!

this company refuses to tell me the name or the corporation or business, when I called them twice from work, asking them to please stop calling my home phone number as early as 7am and late at nite after 10pm....indian and pakistanian people in a very rude maner they start asking me all those questions like what is your name? what is the phone number you want us to stop calling and my address....unbelievable. also I'm registered at the "NO CALL" service and they keep calling.
as other comments before mine, if I pick it up there is nothing but silence or a mute sound on the other side of the phone line!

Got a call from 1 800 281 9642. This woman is a real C_NT !  Calling every day.
I got a Current 407 Bill ( approx 2 weeks ago) AND its for less than $10.00.

Just out of principle now; and for these  harassing phone calls....I tell her to go F_CK herself...and I am not a belligerent or rude person AT ALL...and if they damage tarnish my credit score ...I WILL TAKE SUE THEM IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT...Just for the principle!!

If they are calling regarding the 407...I don't know what they want with me. I don't drive, never have, never had a vehicle...but I will tell you one thing....I DON'T APPRECIATE BEING CALLED AT  7:54 in the morning! I thought they could only call between certain hours?

It wouldn't be too bad if they'd say something!!  I get the same call every morning at 8:40am ... I pick up, wait, and I hear a click ... I call back and line goes dead ... I must be on their autodialer ... how the hell can I get them to stop autodialing me???  They don't even exist

I keep getting phone calls from this number and they hang up.  My phone is used for strictly personal use, I have included it on the nation wide do not call list and yet I get this ~ I don't understand the purpose.

Not only are they rude on the phone, but now I see they're just as rude right here in the forum!  Using terms like DUH! and "It's not rocket science", tells me exactly what caliber of professionalism we are dealing with here.  I put it at about a grade 6 education, give or take.  
No, when these Holier Than Thou people call, it does NOT necessarily mean you obviously have not paid a bill somewhere.  We had a dispute with Bell Canada, our bills were always paid (Yes they were Hope) and through a mistake of THEIRS, the account was sent to Iqor.  We have since established that it was indeed Bell's mistake and were given a ticket number to give to Iqor.  That is when the trouble started.  A robot calls the house mega times per day, when you call back, you can only hope against hope that the agent 1) Speaks some form of English and 2) Doesn't hang up on you when you ask them a trick question, like "What time are you open until and who is your supervisor".  One time when we spoke to them, they said that this file came into their office in July of 2010.  We were first contacted late June 2011.  Can you explain that?  Meanwhile, how many times are they going to submit that we defaulted to the Credit Bureau?  These uneducated, harrassers have the power to destroy your credit rating, even though you've corrected the problem with the original company, the challenge comes in speaking to anyone with an ounce of brains at iqor.  Can't be done.  As for the representatives being busy, I could understand that.... but when you're left hanging waiting for 57 minutes THEN get cut off, not once but 3 times in a row, you get a little frustrated.  Please don't refer to people as Idiots if they don't call back, it's usually the fault of Iqor, which would make them the obvious idiots.  We are at a loss as to how to get a hold of these people, have left messages with the so-called "Supervisors" on several occasions, tried on weekends, you name it.  All we want to do is get this ticket number to them so they can understand that they have to swallow this debt they bought from Bell, and leave us alone.  It isn't always deadbeats who are being harrassed by this so-called reputable company.  I would suggest instead of hanging around on these forums and adding insult to injury, perhaps you people could try acting like real business people, answer your phones, speak English and settle these problems like adults instead of pushing people beyond their limits with rudeness, insults and "don't get your panties tied in a knot" remarks.  Iqor needs to learn how to train their employees, obviously.

Also calling 5-7 times a day - this was a new number assigned by Bell - finally had to change the number - I am reporting them to CRTC

They call every 20 minutes. I answer and no one is there if I wait it hangs up on me. If I don't answer it leaves a message for no one in particular at my home,it just says this is ICOR canada please call back 1.877.503.2115

Prerecorded greeting saying "This is ICOR Canada.  It is important that you call us back at 1-800-281-9642"  If you call back you get put into a queue, I hung up...don't want to bother with them.

They would call my cell 4 to 5 times aday, so what i did is store the number and personlize the ring to SILENT.
