Caller said his name was Dan Cuhar with Aegis. There are multiple internet complaints about this phone number "cold calling". I did not and will not return the call now that I know that this guy is a telemarketer.

Sweatshop called Aegis capital. I told the guy "Tim Behr" to stop calling me. Next thing he does is start cussing me. Next time he or they call I'm going to record it and get the state involved.

Keep getting calls from Aegis; have told of no interest but continued calls.

Just got the spam telemarketing call on my cell phone.  
"Let me send you some info blah blah blah".  Penny stock pusher.  Can't believe that scheme still works...

Called my cell phone and hung up when I answered.

Thanks for this post.  I just got a message from 'Mark Joseph' on 4 October.  He left a call back number as 646-557-3488.  Sounded legit but based on these postings, definitely not worth the call back.

Just got a call on my home number in North Carolina from this guy.  He knew my husband's first name and said he would send him an email.  Thanks everyone for the heads up

Received call from Mike Murray from Aegis on 8/24/10. Checked this site. Good info - I won't call back.

Received call from Kevin O'Cooley on 08/20/10 who said he was from Aegis.  Called my direct office line and made it sound like he was returning a business call that I had made to him.  Thanks for the heads up...

Mark Joseph left message to call back 3.26.2010.  Sounds important, but he is a cold call telemarketer for investment industry.  Don't bother returning his calls.

Now using the name Dan Kumar with aegis.  Left multiple messages for a callback and sounded as if I knew him so I did.  He gets right into asking personal finance questions and will not take "no" so forced to hang up.  DO NOT CALL!

Got a call from 6465573480, alleging to be from "Aegis". Since it was on my work phone I thought it might be one of our vendors or clients that I might not have had occasion to speak with before.

Wrong. It was some cold calling securities salesman from a boiler room op somewhere.

Do yourself a favor, if 6465573480 Aegis calls, hang up.

Aegis is a term that the U.S. Military uses for a weapon or missile system.  I work for a Defense Sub, so I thought it might be a serious call.  But after seeing these posts, it's gotta be some telemarketer.

Typical in my industry, individuals will leave some sort of clue as to what business they are looking for.  Mark Joseph did not.

Got a voice mail. We buy software from a compnay called Aegis, so I was thinking it might be legit but before calling anyone back I want to know what the hell they want so I did a search on the internet and hear hear to the comment
"god bless the internet for empowering us against the scum"

Thank you all for the above information.  He was very convincing in his voicemail, but fortunately, I queried the phone number on google before calling him back.  I also told him to take us off his list and to never call back.
