This time it is from "Quickbooks". Obviously junk, and most likely a scam.The most obvious clue is that so many business names have the same fax 855-378-6228 on the header. More trash to send to the Indiana Attorney Generals office.

This is some sort of "advertising/marketing" company - they send out these junk faxes for many companies.  Both the "advertiser" and the "company" being advertised are scammers.  

SIMPLE WAY TO P****OFF THE "COMPANY" ADVERTISED ON THE FAX:  IF THERE IS A PHONE NUMBER, CONTINUALLY FAX A BLANK PIECE OF PAPER TO THE PHONE NUMBER.  They get that annoying BEEP and likely will eventually let the call go to a message machine.  There is no talking with either the company being advertised or the ones who do the "advertising".  The only thing you can do since the FCC doesn't do a damn thing about it is find interesting ways to annoy the company being advertised.  I think my next move will be to call pretending to be doing a survey on types of advertising companies do.  Make up some "normal" questions and then some less-than-normal ones...

You cannot get removed from the list by calling the number - they will add you to more lists for more companies that use their scumbag service.

Just received a fax from this number promoting a Health & Dental Insurance Plan starting at $49.95/month. Asked to call 1-888-420-6411 for a 2 minute call for all the details..

The number it supposedly sends the fax from is the "removal" number.  They continually send spam faxes for all sorts of companies, which are also scammers simply for using this service.  "American Film Recovery" has an answering machine pick up the phone.  "Prescott Liquidators", "Universal Silver Recovery", and "USA Recycling" are just a few of the companies using this fax "service".  Not remotely close to the business this company does.

We recived a fax from this fax number 855-378-6228 offereing " TeleServices " at ph# 416-888-7303 which is a Toronto ,Ontario , Canada exchange.

They offered this fax number as a call back number to remove your number from their "fax program" ,,,,which could be a scam to get you to call that number back and either charge you back a rediculous amount of money for the call ,,or add more of your information to their data base and sell it to someone else as a valid fax number for even more fax advertizing.

The other details on the fax we received included  www.teleservices.ca and a e-mail   info@teleservices.ca  which is a company offering old Nortel  Meridian phones for sale.

Received a fax from 855-378-6228 reflecting a company by the name "Prescott Parts & Supplies" offering Heavy Construction Equipment & Machinery. Names on the fax are "Randy @ 615-556-3709 and Joseph @ 423-584-3961

Fake "removal" number listed on a junk fax looking for xray materials.  The only thing calling these removal numbers accomplishes is confirming that you have a working fax number and gets you more unwanted fax spam.

FAX FROM THIS NUMBER

This number is on a fax advertising Scrap X-ray film recovery company - it is used to delete your fax number from their distribution list.

Whoever is currently using this number is conducting a hoax. The telephone number they list on the fax belongs to a network design firm in Chadds Ford, PA. It is not associated with the name of the Indianapolis construction firm the faxer claims to represent.

Unsolicited advertisement offering demolition and industrial cleanup services. They claim to be located in Indianapolis, IN at telephone # 888-995-9984.

We received an unsolicited fax from this number before 7:00 this morning.  Advertising "Demolition and Surplus Commerical and Industrial Cleanup."  Contact number is given as 888-995-9984, out of Indianapolis, IN.  I'm sure it's a scam; wouldn't trust these people.  We have NO need of their services.
