Got a call from this number at 1:52 ET, I didn't answer, no message left. Caller ID is such a wonderful tool with numbers like these.

Scam artists tried to enter our home into some sort of giveaway. They provided the option to press the number 3 to be removed from their list. It was all a recorded message, and the message only starts playing when activated by voice or noise on your end. Do not fall for their tactics. The call is originating from New York, NY and is coming from a mobile phone. The phone carrier is Peerless Networks of New York, LLC. They are fraudulent and malicious and need to be brought to justice.
I have reported them to the F.B.I., the FTC, and the FCC.

Can this be confirmed that it was just some random call? I got a text at 1:23PM PST saying "Just called you at your Textfree number."
My girlfriend is the only one who has my number and she has been missing. This isn't her number, though. So can I just write this off as spam?

sales call. Pressed 3 to be put on the "blocked" list but I'm pretty sure it doesn't do anything other than keep from being able to yell at someone for calling me. I thought I was already on a blocked list to begin with.
