Calls everyday @ 9AM Who are these people?

I get the same phone call from circulation. They call three times a day and let it ring  three times and then hang up. What I don't get is don't whoever is calling don't they have anything better to do with there life then calling people and degrading themselves.

Calls our office everyday trying to renew magazine subscriptions.  Will not stop calling even though I'd told them no.  I don't even answer the phone now when I see the number on caller ID.

Called ID states Circulation. No answer no message. Calling several times daily. If you answer and put them on hold they have verified this is a "live" phone line. Let it ring. Ignore if unknown. As we adapt to ignoring they will have to change tactics to reach us. At least then the phone will quit ringing.

They keep calling and then hang up when I answer and they don't leave a message if I ignore the call.

I read comments here and figured I would answer since I subscribe to several free industry trade publications.

I picked up..heard a CLICK and was cut off.  Very nice.

I CHECKED MY ONLY PHONE BILL,  THEY HAVE CALLED 23 TIMES, NEVER LEAVING A MESSAGE.  HAVE TOLD THEM THREE TIMES TO TAKE ME OFF THEIR CALL LIST.  WHEN I ASK THE FOURTH TIME WHERE THEY GOT MY NUMBER, HE HUNG UP ON ME.  GOOD LUCK EVERYONE WITH THIS COMPANY OR WHO THEY CONTRACT OUT WITH?

They keep calling asking to speak with the office manager about renewing his subscription...he is way too busy to stop what he is doing to take the call and for the past 3 times they have called I've offered to put them in his voicemail so he can call them back at a better time but they refuse each time. Fine, keep calling because you won't talk to him until you leave him a message.

Says they are calling from Door and Window Magazine and need to verify contact information. I've told them each day, for the last 5 days in a row, that we are not interested and I will not verify any information, take us off your calling list, this is now considered harrassment. But they keep calling back twice a day!!
