I don't answer numbers on my cell that I don't reconize, so i didn't answer. But they didn't bother to leave a message either.

I received a call from them as well.  I did some looking and found that the number is a land line handled by Integra Telecom out of Twin Cities, MN.  I'm sure this is the equivalent of AT&T, I wonder if we couldn't contact Integra Telecom and have them investigate this number.

they call my house like 10 times a day I always go hello..? hello..? and today they ddnt answer but i heard some noise in the background like clicking. its starting to get really annoying and bothersom. I wanna kick there ass's they piss meh off!

It's getting really annoying that these idiots have nothing better to do but call and not say anything.  I want to kick their a**es as well!

i also get calls from this number-  when they do answer i have asked them to take my number off the list they say yes but i still get calls. if i answer and hear nothing i just hang up  during this time of year(Lent)i try to live in peace.

I talk to them today some guy he told me this is there last week there and don't even no why there still putting people on the plan its a scam I think all about the money If they call don't give them any mony

Advantage Debt Service is a rip off it is an enrollment center they get 399 and the first 3 monthly payments then send you to Nation Wide Who has an F rate with the BBB Nation Wide is being sued by the state of New York they are scam artist they don't care about you they just want your money hope this helps

They hang up on me when I answer so now I just pick it up and hang up on them!

They call our business and home several times a day? Then weeks may go by without any calls.... then it starts up again...we all now have rape whistles? so if we feel inclined to answer they get a blast!!!!

They have been calling for the last 2 weeks. My husband answered, they asked for me and said they where AVS, saying I inquired about their services. My husband asked what their services are. The lady answered "We do Debt Consolidation." The thing is I never signed up for debt consolidation, as my husband and I have no debt. We pay all our bills, have no credit cards, so why would I wanna know about debt consolidation? When my husband told them he thought it was a scam, she flipped and started to argue with him. She even asked if my email was correct. My husband says there are ways for hackers and scammers to get that info and sell it. She started yelling at him that "We don't do that, lots of people sign up for our help."

As I was typing this, my husband looked up AVS, and its a company that buys your house then rents it back to you. We don't even own a house, we rent.

Is there any way to block that number?  They keep calling for me to refinance..  3 times one day....

It was suggested that we should answer them by pressing the # key several times to take up their time just as they take up ours.

Has anyone done this?

That's the number I called (1-877-379-0990)to have them place me on their no call list. Advantage Debt seemed polite and apologetic. I informed them that the previous owner's of my now new phone number have been failing miserably to notify fine lending companies of their new phone number. Wonder why? So now at least, all the debt collectors have the luxury of getting my polite speech about how I am not affiliated with the Torres family. Hope this helps.

I got a call about Credit card debt, the person I spoke to was pretty knowledgable, I really wasnt interested but didnt have any problem with the call.

got a theory why they hangup so much: this is a predictive dialer, which assigns calls as they're made. The machine is dialing and if someone isn't ready to take the call as it's answered, it just hangs up. Well, this and many companies don't have enough people to take the calls, so there are lots of hangups. They're inconveniencing, stealing time, from many people because of their cheapness and rudeness.
