They called me awhile back. After doing my research I found it to be a scam. I called back and demanded they send these supposed documents to me via fax or email and they got angry with me and started yelling. I hung up on them and started to mess with them. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them. Guess they don't like all the calls...

i just got one to.  should i return the call or just ignore it?

It's a scammer, the FBI doesn't do that.

I have received a call today from a man with a heavy indian accent.  I have decided to input the number he provided into an insurance quote database and whatever else I can find telemarketing wise.  :)  See how they like the annoying calls.

I got the first call from this number yesterday. He claimed his name was Edward Johnson....really? Had a very think Indian accent. Said that me or my attorney needed to contact him the second I received the message. He called again this morning and I didn't answer, he left a message. Called back a 2nd time, right after, and I answered the phone but didn't say anything. So he called back AGAIN! The message said this was my second warning call! Umm right...if this was an important matter why didn't you say what the lawsuit, or whatever was?

Just received a voicemail on my cell from 646-652-6319. I knew exactly what it was which is why I didn't answer. Heavy Middle Eastern accent, and left his name as Detective William Brown. Really?? If you guys want our $$ try being alittle bit more believable! A**H***!

So I've received 2 calls "warnings" from a Jay Smith with a very heavy indian accent. Told me I needed to have my lawyer from Rick Stewart & Co. to contact them. I have been dealing with these guys for over 5 years. At first I was scared, but then went to the bank and they told me I never had a deposit out of the ordinary and gave me my bank statements, of course there was nothing on there. Also I have looked into weither or not a loan company could have you arrested for not paying it off and they can't. It would be a civil matter not criminal. I've also learned that the more you argue with them the more they call. Just ignore them. They will stop calling.

I have received calls like this before.  If you have ever looked at an online payday loan, that's where they likely got your phone number.  It's a complete fraud and they are using scare tactics to get people to give them money.  They will tell you you are being charged with something, that you will be arrested, just anything they think will scare you into paying them some money that you don't even owe.  Don't fall for it.

I received a call from this number today and the gentleman was very rude.  They are trying to get money out of you that you don't even owe them.

A man with a very heavy Indian accent claimed his name was Nick Johnson (funny, I actually DO have a student by that name). I, or my attorney of record was instructed to call back the second I received this message, and it was time sensitive. I obviously didn't return his call.  He called back again at 7 pm.  I didn't answer this time either, and don't plan to.  I have a time sensitive message for this "Nick".........BITE ME!

I received a call from this number last week and they  told me. I was being charged with fraud and owed some company money and i will be served on monday.. the indian guy would not give me details to what was going on and when i asked him to repeat it again he got upset and started being rude and cussing at me .. I told him to F off and serve me then.. spoke to my lawyer and its pure fraud

This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:

These people called my work number telling me that he was with some Law Firm and there has been a case filed against me and needed my attorney's number. i knew it was a scam so i told them not to call me at this number this again and hung up. "Kevin" called back again and asked why i hung up and i again told him not to call me at this numer again and told him that i knew this was illegal and not to call again and i hung up. he again called and asked for my manager and i sent him to voice mail.

I have fun with them ... we get into a terrorist debate and they tell me they are going to blow my house up... I CANNOT put on here what I say back.... But it is very funny and mean.

Big Con artist, just got phone CALLS from them, Indian man called me a "bi***" told me "f*** you" asking who is this when I answered my phone and when I began calling him back the phone would ring once and then a busy signal, dont believe anything they are saying, do not send them ANY money! Everytime the same guy answered he would give me a different name.

Another scam call.  They will call and call saying they represent a law firm and that you owe money for something you never did.  A loan you never took out.  I reported them to the FBI but unfortunately they can't intervene until they rob me.   Insult them, threaten them back do whatever but DO NOT give them any more information.
