They called, I did not answer. They did not leave a message. I have also had calls from Owtel lately, so there is a possibility its them.

I get this too.  I think it's Bayantel, a phone company from the Philippines.  They keep calling me and trying to sell me their service.  Owtel from the Philippines also calls me.  They think I'm Filipino or something.  They won't stop and I don't think I can do anything about it because the call originates from the Philippines.

Got a call from this number (Jan 2013).  Called back and got a hangup.  Immediately called back and it went straight to a recording: "Hi, this is John Smith...." Person's voice had an accent, like East Asian.
