I had a loan from castle loan(payday Loan)than realized was a scam loan company after I overpaid them by $200 dollars and closed my bank account and they are still after me for $800 more dollars. Now I began receiving calls from Pat Neal and Marshal Joe Thomas which are obviously the same guy pretending to be two diff people lol playing good guy and bad guy. saving they are going to serve me and take me to court because of fraud for wrighting bad checks not following through with a legal contract on a loan. They call my work telling them I'm wanted by the law and tell me I can avoid court by making payment arangments with them. they tellme I have an hour to call them back before they serve me thur. can't wait till they call again!!  Im so glad I googled there names and phone numbers and realized they were trying to scam me!!! BASTERDS!!!  phone number they are using is 855-326-5706 not sure who to report them to though.

I just received a message from Marshall Joe Thomas regarding a civil issue attached to my ssn and that I need to call them at 855-455-3043 x173 or protect myself.........

I received a call from a Marshall Joe Thomas saying that I had civil suit filed against me and that I had until noon tomorrow to call the debt collector called ERRG number 18558031370 I don't owe anyone what should I do?

FIRST THING YOU DO WHEN THIS NUMBER CALLS YOU , (say) these words This Phone Call is being recorded for professional and identity safety purposes. IF IT IS a scam Of course they are going to freak out and just hang up the phone because no scam artist is going to want there voice recorded as evidence in a scam over the phone just a simple way to end all scams at the start of conversation or harrassment. If the company is real they are going to most likely just agree with it because they have nothing to hide in the first place. (note) it is illegal to record someones conversation over the phone (WITHOUT) giving them a disclaimer first otherwords telling them what i just told you to say at the top. Good Luck and all your worries may disappear :)

I received a call from 716-986-9606 (sapiro and price) in reagards to a payday loan from 2007. Unfortunatly i didnt get any names, but i spoke to a female and a male. The advised me that i made a payment back in 07 and didnt make anymore....The last name, bank info, and employee info was incorrect, on top of the fact that i've never taken a pay day loan in my life. I tried to explain that to her, but she didnt wanna hear that she only wanted a payment and continued to threaten me with a lawsuit. She was very rude and aggressive to the point where i let her have it.....I cursed her out sooo bad....i used ever curse word, insult, and whatever else i could think of and told her not to call my house anymore. She said you're such a scum bag and hung up......She didnt know who she was messing with. I called back and a male answered "what". i asked to speak to the women who called me and explained what was going on.....he began to get aggressive and rude and said "i think u just used a fake name to do ur fraud business....i let him have it too. She got back on the phone i let her a$$ have it again...Me and this lady and this guy were going back and forth for about 30 mins with insults and curse words, at that point it wasnt even about the debt anymore.....At that point i realized (from working in collections) this was fraud and they were just trying to scam people out of money......she lucky she wasnt in my city or i would have found her and beat that a$$. Please dont make any payment arrangements with this company....its totally 100% fraud.......I dared her to call my house again, and i havent heard from them since

I received several calls at my parents home, my parents business from Shapiro and Price. They left messages that were rude and upsetting to my parents. Shapiro and Price ???? whoever they are, can't be lawyers if so, they are some dumb a** lawyers. Thay phoned my parents business, spoke to one of their employees giving them a message to give to me. The message said I need to contact them or my attorney immediately. they went on to say if not contacted they would take me to court and make sure I go to jail. My mom was very upset one that rhey would call trying to strong arm someone, and to call and tell an employee what could be my personal business, violated my rights. My mom phoned him, got their voice mail, left them a message stating if they call and speak to one of her employees about me again, that they just might be the one who will be seen in court. She told them if the debt was real contact her with detail info and to stop calling. These people try to scare the hell out of you, to make you pay them some money. if its an attempt to collect a real debt, threats, harrassment, and being rude is not the way to handle the matter. Shapiro and Price real or unreal need to be stopped, I have no unpaid debt that I'm aware of, but if I do, strong armimg is not the way to collect.

They call with threats, but no details on what the debt is suppose to be. These people try to scare the hell out of you, to make you pay them money (owed or not). My wife got a message stating a bad check was written and she needed to call them or face a lawsuit.  I contacted the bank and no outstanding check is out there.

I keep getting calls from this number. I owe nothing to anyone.  They say it is concerning and uncleared item with my checking account. I want to stop it!  How?

So I totally believed that they were a law firm and when she first called and said do you have a payday loan that you took out with this company and of course I said yes because I had.  Set up payment plan with them, silly me giving them my debit card number and making monthly payments to them.  After getting a call from a man that I had not talked to before Sal or Saul Blata not sure if that is the right spelling demanding 325.00 because the company wanted to shut their business down and wanted to get all the money they could before then.  I told him I don't have that kind of money well my husband seeing that I am getting stressed out and upset called the man a f***** of course this is after he told me that they were taking me to court for fraud, the man proceeded to tell me to tell my husband to shut up, said see you in court and hung up on me.  Yesterday I called and told him I wanted a paper document on how much I owed the original creditors name and he said no why should he bother if I won't comply.  I talked to a friend and she said that I need to call my bank and cancel my card which I did right away and I am in the process of disputing the charges, I don't know if I will get my 200.00 back but at least I am hoping anyway that they won't be able to take any more money from my account.  Funny thing is he didn't even know the correct amount of how much I have actually paid.  If I would have been smart I would have checked it out first.  I have filed a complaint with the FTC and my local attorney generals office who informed me that there is a scam out there where a supposed company will collect money from people illegally.  Don't fall for it like I did, I have not been able to sleep well this week.  I am worried about the fallout from these people.  Oh also the payment on my bank statement had the company listed as Integrity Management.  The address given on superpages is a big field no business there.

What steps you took to further stop them harassing you?.

did you receive any help from Attorney Gen office, or other organization. I received a few calls and I would like to report to but I have no time to waste if it does not work.

He pretended to put me on hold to speak with the attorney and came back to tell me between the two of us he can arrange for me to only pay 800 I told him it's too much and he said could I do 435 +a $7 fee.I didn't know at the time I gave my info but a few minutes later I called my card holder and I cancelled the account.

First of all its illegal for bill collectors to threaten people. Second, I have received calls from the same number but from a "different" person. When I asked for documents or paperwork from them they said it was not possible. It IS Shapiro and Price and they ARE fake. I googled the man that was calling me and Shapiro and Price and I came up with a California listing but for an attorney, I called and the man explained to me that this debt collection facade has been going on for months and that it was beginning to disrupt his business. Marshall Joe Thomas is a scam artist and Shapiro and Price is a load of crap. They told me the same thing, that I would have a suit against me and that I was going to go to jail; they also said that they mailed out documents to me and left a voice mail saying that I was to report to the appropriate court date. They do not know my address and they cannot just mail out paperwork for something like that, it has to be served to you. I received these calls at least 4 times a day for a month then they stopped, they just now started calling again.

I keep getting calls in the early AM because they are in NY (Eastern timezone) and I'm NOT! They are calling me at 6am, which has to be illegal! They are waking my entire house because they call 2-3 times every other morning. The message is about a bounced check. Once I was told I was being sued in a civil suit and this phone call means that I've been "served". That isn't even legal. I've spoke with a rude, sad, little man and a c***-voice woman (I am watching the language-anyone who harasses for a living deserves it!). I've requested to be taken off their call list 5X. Not only am I NOT the person they are looking for, I've NEVER cashed a payday loan. I've told them, THAT IS NOT MY NAME! I DON'T KNOW WHO THIS PERSON IS, PLEASE STOP CALLING!  It doesn't matter....unless WE (whoever is reading this) the people find out who they really are we can't file a legal harassment charge against them. If you "people" at 716-986-9606 are reading this and getting a laugh...ask yourself...ARE YOU HAPPY? I'm betting your life plan didn't include defecating into a voice-mail box everyday or scamming and scaring old people out of their life savings. Just know that I respect the people who clean up pig poo for a living but your job, sadly, isn't something illegal immigrants or prisoners would want to do. I'm betting deep down inside....you hate your job too. Is the money really worth the headache? Who is actually making the money for this bogus company? -Turn them into the police, quit and find something better to do with your life! This Ms. Jones woman had been calling my roommate for the late 3 days from this same number saying he owns a payday loan from 07. They even called his 97 year old grandma and harrassing her. How cruel can someone be. So I took the phone and talk to the poor excuse for a human and told her he wasn't going to pay and that they were a scam and I had reported them to the FBI and the BBB. She became very angry and call me a f**king f** and hung up. LMAO. I really made her made. I dare this fake a** person to call again. Don't be fooled by these people and don't get them any money or card info. They have to send you a statement of the debt and should be notarized when you ask for this letter from them. Report these people asap.

Called the 866 number, when it was answered, gave claim # and told individual not to call my home again.  They hung up on me.  Be careful of Florida calls.  Same company.

I just got a call on my cell with a recorded message.  If they call again, I'm reporting them to the fair trade commission.

THIS IS A SCAM

this number called me and said i owed a cash advance place money from a check that was insufficeint they also call from 1-888-499-0864 they told me if i didnt give them 300 dollars this month and 300 next month i would have charges pressed against me for passing bad checks. i called my attorney n she said that this was prob a scam and that i needed to get info about the debt sent to me . so i called to speak with someone whom went by the name of salvator claiming he was a paralegal , and when i asked for the proper documentation he called me a scum bag n hung up on me. THESE PEOPLE ARE TOTAL CON ARTISTS I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE BBB AND FBI DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING

Calls automated repeatedly asking for someone (a deadbeat) who does not live at my residence.  WTF

These types of companies need to be put out of business.

The call was automated and spoke too fast to get enough information. However, this debt could be one from over 15years ago after my divorce.

Just a footnote to my post...looked them up on Yellow Pages.. they are under business consultants..need I say more..NOT LAWYERS

This lady called from Buffalo NY from 716-986-9606.  Then  mumbled her name and said from the claims office of Spario and Price.  Stating they had a warrent out for my husband and needed to call them back immed.  Since he is on leave for a severe med problem, I called them. She said that there was a warrent in my county for my husbands arrest for a Pay day loan from 2006.  We owe that, I know. But when we asked her what county had the warent out for my husband, she couldn't tell me.  I asked to recieve a copy of the bill to set up payment arragngments, and she said no, only through phone and bank account {red flag went up}  Then I said I want to validate the warrent through my cousins husband who is a county sheriff, thats when she cussed me out and hung up.  I talked to my cousins husband and he said they can't do that, its a civil matter, and since they did not say, "this is an attempt to collect a debt, and any info will be used for that purpose," then AUTOMATICALLY its a SCAM, by law, they have to say that.....don't give these fools the time of day, I filed a complaint against them...we'll see if they call back!
