I just got a call from this same number about my time share. But this time I did not give him the time of day. Because we were scamed by Vacation Timeshare Sales who said they were out of GA and had a buyer for us.

Just got a call from this number - after getting calls for weeks from 706-225-8913 in GA, and both say they are calling about buying my timeshare and want payment over the phone via credit card for "closing fees". When my hub tells them that we will close with an attorney and money in escrow, they make up all kinds of things about them working for My Timeshare Services... when I check that co online on BBB, it says that the legit company has had their customers fraudulently called by someone from this number and using their address.  Most likely foreigners trying to dupe someone into paying them over the phone.

yeah, I did take out a online payday loan, which was immediately paid back. This was last year, and now several have purchased my information and are taking money from my account. I have my bank working with me and have stopped any further withdrawls, as well as opened a new account while this is being investigated. I had no idea people could "steal" your information. I learned the hard way, never again will I ever use the internet for financial issues.

When you call this it says number or code is incorrect.  I'm pretty sure they are a scam!

My sister apperently tried to take out a loan and this is a result. They called my Mother and Sister yesterday. (I have moved and have a new #. that is unlisted). They treatened my 80 year old mother and told my sister that they were going to arrest her, my mother and I if she did not pay. My sister called her local Police Department and the officer called them and told them what they are doing is illegal After calling multiple times today (the guy James Henderson finally said its you again). There were about 6 guys all calling themselves James Henderson with a very heavy middle east accent ) I told the guy that this is a very American name for someone that barely speaks the language.
They also told me that they work for Homeland Security and when I questioned the Jacksonville # they told me they work under the health department in Florida. I told them that the only collections that the health department does is specimens. He did not now what the word specimens was. This is a scam.
I reported them to the Florida Attorney General today and suggest that everyone else do that since one of the #s that they call from originates in Florida. From other blogs, I have gathered that they are using Magic Jack as thier phone service provider and the calls are originating from out of the country. I used ^67 before placing the call. I plan to call them everyday to ask how thier day is going. Think about doing this as well. My sister has called an attorney to get some relief from them.

YEAH, A BOGUS ONE!!!  OUR INFORMATION IS BEING SHARED WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION.  DO NOT DO ANYTHING OVER THE INTERNET, OR IN MY CASE, NOT EVEN WITH A PAYDAY LOAN COMPANY DONE IN PERSON WHICH SEEMED LEGIT.

MY PROBLEM ISN'T AS EASY . . . IT WASN'T DONE ON THE INTERNET.  BUT, FAIR WARNING TO THOSE WHO ARE TRYING TO GET PAYDAY LOANS OVER THE INTERNET.  APPARENTLY THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM.  DON'T LET THEM DO THIS TO YOU!!!

ME TOO.  THEY ARE NOW CALLING MY FIANCE AND MY BEST FRIEND.  HAVEN'T CHECKED WITH MY EMPLOYER YET.  BUT THIS HAS GONE BEYOND A SCAM OR HARRASMENT.  IT IS NOW A DEFIMATION OF CHARACTER LAWSUIT, AS WELL AS A VERY PROBABLE "PROBLEM WITH MY EMPLOYER" TO SAY THE LEAST.

THESE PEOPLE HAVE GOT TO BE STOPPED.  THEY THINK THEY CAN SCARE YOU AND INTIMIDATE YOU INTO GIVING THEM MONEY, AND THEN THEY CALL ALL OF YOUR REFERENCES SAYING THE SAME THINGS TO THEM.  SUCH AS, "YOU NEED TO GIVE SUCH AN SUCH THIS MESSAGE AND IF YOU DON'T, YOU WILL BE IN BIG TROUBLE TOO" AND THEN HUNG UP ON HIM.

SEE REPLY TO TAMMY.  THIS IS AN OBVIOUS SCAM FROM SOMEONE WITH A HEAVY MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENT, WHO CALLS FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS IN ORDER TO COVER THEIR TRACKS.  THEY ARE LOOKING FOR THAT ONE PERSON WHO WILL JUST GIVE THEM MONEY OVER THE PHONE.  DON'T DO IT!!!!

SO FAR THESE NUMBER START WITH EITHER A 646 AREA CODE, OR A 904 AREA CODE.  BUT THE ONE THING THEY HAVE IN COMMON IS THE MIDDLE EASTERN, HARD TO UNDERSTAND JERK WHO LIKES TO PLAYACT BY YELLING THINGS LIKE, "I AM GOING TO HAVE YOU ARRESTED BY THE FBI."  AND THEN HANG UP ON YOU.  HA!  YEAH, RIGHT!

WHEN I CALLED BACK, HE ANSWERED THAT HE WAS AN OFFICER.  YEAH, LIKE A POLICE OFFICER WOULD BE CALLING TO COLLECT A DEBT, AND A FICTICIOUS ONE AT THAT.  

WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO HIS SUPERIOR, HE THOUGHT HE HAD PUT ME ON HOLD, BUT I HEARD HIM SAY, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO."  THE NEXT THING I KNEW, OUR CONNECTION HAD BEEN DISCONNECTED.  IN OTHER WORDS, THE OTHER PERSON JUST HUNG UP ON ME!  

YEAH, LIKE A LEGITAMATE COLLECTION AGENCY OR A LAW FIRM ALLEGDEDLY HIRED TO COLLECT A DEBT, WOULD SAY SOMETHING OR DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

THEY ARE VERY AGGRESSIVE AND RUDE, THEY HANG UP IF THEY THINK YOU ARE ON TO THEM, AND THEY SWITCH TELEPHONE NUMBERS.  1-646-289-8380 WAS A DIFFERENT NUMBER WHICH CALLED ME ~ 6 DAYS LATER WITH THE SAME NON ENGLISH SPEAKING JERKS.  THEY SOUND ARABIC OR SOMETHING OF THAT NATURE.  THEY ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND, BUT VERY RUDE AND THREATENING.  

THEY TOLD ME IT WAS KEVIN LLOYD FROM MIKE DAVIS LAW FIRM IN THE FINANCIAL LAW AND CRIME DIVISION AND THAT I SHOULD GET AN ATTORNEY BECAUSE I OWED MONEY FROM CASH ADVANCE AMERICA, AN INTERET CREDIT LOAN.  THIS IS SOMETHING I NEVER DID.  

WHEN I CALLED THE CORPORATE OFFICE OF ADVANCE AMERICA, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A SCAM, THAT I HAD NOT BEEN THE FIRST TO REPORT THIS HAPPENING AND THAT THEY HAD SOMEHOW GOTTEN AHOLD OF THEIR RECORDS, BUT THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW HOW.  I SPOKE WITH THE DISTRICT MANAGER, WHO INFORMED ME THAT SHE HAD ALREADY CALLED THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AND THAT I MAY WANT TO DO THE SAME THING.  

~ 3 WEEKS LATER, THE SAME MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENT SPEAKING JERKS CALLED MY FIANCE AND MY BEST FRIEND, BOTH LISTED AS REFERENCES FOR WHAT I BELIEVED TO BE A LEGITAMATE COMPANY.

THIS TIME THEY CALLED FROM 1-904-410-3882 AND LEFT A VERY NASTY MESSAGE ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE TELLING ME THAT IF I DIDN'T CALL THEM BACK "IT WOULD BE VERY BAD."

I THEN CALLED THE FIRST TWO NUMBERS THEY HAD CALLED ME FROM AND THE FIRST ONE, LISTED HERE STATES, "YOUR CALL CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALED, ETC." AND THE ONE THEY CALLED FROM 6 DAYS LATER 1-646-289-8380 STATED, "PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE AFTER THE BEEP."

IT IS THEREFORE IMPORTANT TO SAY THAT THE THIRD NUMBER THEY CALLED ME FROM 1-904-410-3882, LATER THAT SAME EVENING, NOW ALSO HAD AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE WHICH STATED, "EXTENTION 1-904-410-3882 IS UNAVAILABLE.  PLEASE LEAVE YOUR MESSAGE AFTER THE TONE."

OBVIOUSLY, THEY ARE USING DIFFERENT NUMBERS FOR ONLY ONE DAY AT A TIME TO COVER THEIR TRACKS.  THE ONE THING THEY ALL HAVE IN COMMON IS THE HEAVY MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENT AND THEIR OBVIOUS UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER.  I MEAN WHO SAYS, "IT WILL BE VERY BAD?" AND THEN HANGS UP IF YOU ASK TOO MANY QUESTIONS?

NOW, I AM STARTING TO WONDER IF WHETHER OR NOT, ADVANCE AMERICA IS IN CO-HOOTS WITH THEM??  MAYBE SELLING OUR INFORMATION TO THEM??  DID ANY OF YOU EVER GET A ADVANCE PAYCHECK LOAN FROM ANYONE?  WAS IT ALSO ADVANCE AMERICA???  I DON'T KNOW, YOU TELL ME . . .

Got several calls. In a 5 minute time frame from 646-718-2512.
Then called me at work. Could hardly understand them.
Mentioned a court date and that they would see me there. Unless other arrangements could be made.
When I mentioned I never heard of the court and who the represent I was hing up on.

Got a call, the person claimed to be from a Internet Payday Loan Company, she gave me the loan company name and I goggled them and found a legit number and called them.  I had in fact applied for a payday loan and turns out the company verified this person did call for them.  I'm hoping everything works out.  I have used this payday loan company before , with no problems.

Got a phone call from the number and when I call back no one answers the phone. What is going on with that it is kinda creepy to me..
