OMG... I just got a message at work to call Adam Smith @ 626-587-8935 from Acropolic Law Firm... Stupid scammers... I'm heading over to our police department today to file my report....

this guy is a f**. Adam Smith, Kevin jones, brian logan, all these f**s are scammers and they use miscellaneous google phone numbers, request that you send them your banking institution and your drivers license so that they can transfer money to themselves.  Thieves.  F**s!  I hope you all burn in hell!

I have received numerous calls to my employer and my cell phone by a brian who sais he is with acrobolis law firm at 7 church chircle acrobolis, my 21401 owned by atttorney robert edwards however no such info available and i work for a law firm big mistake harrassing a law firm keept calling when we hu he does not speak good english and refuses to let me speak to attorney in charge asked for supervisor put me on hold same guy came back changing his name ta max???? Like I am stupid. the number that keeps calling me is 410-834-2822 if anyone has found out whose these people are please let me know asap!

brian I also got a call today on this trying to sue for 2000.00 on a $300.00 loan were you actuqally sued and they are breaking the fdcpa by harrasment at my work and cell with over 20 calls in a half hour can you email me back i can not find anything on this suppossed law office and info they gave me?

Heads up this idiot is now trying to go by Ecropolis - made him spell it out since couldn't  understand him.  Funniest part is the names they use, speaking with thick indian accent - Jack O'Connor, Adam Smith etc.  When we called back the 2nd time had them on speaker and the man who answered spoke wonderful english till he realized they were on the phone.  Reverse searched the number we had for them - the 410-834-2822 - and it was in Maryland, which is what they gave as an address:
7 Circle?, Annapolis,MD.  Told them to send paperwork and my lawyer would call back.  Give your attny generals a call too, not much they can do but maybe get the word out.

The caller has a strong accent that he tries to cover by talking slowly.  Calls my phone repeatedly.  The call back number is 626587893.  He identifies himself as Brian Wilson.  Another number he calls from is 4108342822.  He leaves threatening messages and says he is from a law firm that he mumbles the name of and I can't really understand, but could be Acropolis.  He always wants my attorney's information so he can fax the affadavits he says he has to said attorney.  He won't ever tell me who the so called charges are filed by and when I start asking questions about his firm and asking him to mail all the papers pertaining to the "case", he gets hateful and hangs up on me.

This scammer tried to get me to pay him $625 that I do not owe. I asked for his address and other information. This is what I got:

I called back and it went to voice mail. Strong middle easter accent, can't tell me who the original creditor was (I don't have any outstanding creditors or pay day loans), or when the debt occured.

A very aggressive and verbally abusive gentleman who identifies himself by a different name every time he leaves messages on our company voice mail, keeps calling about an employee who does not even work for our company.

If anyone has any information on how we can report this company/number/individual in order to insure they do not call us again, I would appreciate the information.

Guy names Officer Mike Walker..... First off... How original is that name???? Anyways...Said he need to speak to my boss that it was regarding a legal matter... When I told him all I could do was take his name and number and that I would get him to call him back he got VERY rude with me telling me I better let him speak to him now... I told him no and he said he would come to our office and speak to him then... The caller ID said he was calling from NY....Does he really believe that we believe that crap.... Ummm no... Just beware because they sound very scary and he is very mean

When ever these people call. Who ever gets the call tell them to put information in writing.They will refuse.If they ever put it in writting it becomes a Federal Offense "mail Fraud"
Lawyers are unable to stop this person from calling people.Department of justice is also unable to  stop these "do not call list" also does not work. Local government and state government also unable to stop these calls. Company refuses to provide any proof. Caller "daniel" calling soliciting sex" and making threats "I know where you are and I am coming to get you". If everybody body says the same thing  and then hangs up on them maybe this will slow them down. I don't believe anything will stop them

Calls me repeatedly!! Says the same to me, calls my supervisors office, and my 2 references.  You see I did some online surfing for the best payday loan and the information they have is rediculous!  I can prove through my banking records right that there was no agreement? There was no funds transaction with this default they are talking about!

I got a voice message at work this morning from some guy with a thick accent, said his name is John Anderson and that, "you or your retained attorney of record needs to contact me at 616-727-4981".  Said he was from Akrapolis Law Firm (not sure about spelling)

Called me on my cellphone. No message left.

I received a call from this number today at my work.  The guy (middle-eastern or Indian) said he was calling from a law firm and was so hard to understand, I just told him he can not call me at work and hung up.  This person then called my husband's cell number asking for me.  My husband said he could not speak to me but that I would call back if they left a name and number.  The caller said to reach them at the 646 number and that his name was "Max" or "Max Royal".  So, I called this number and asked for Max.  The guy who picked up the phone said his name was "Brian" and that he would confirm my info.  He did know the last 4 digits of my SSN, birth date, employer, bank acct., which was pretty scary.  He acted like the fact that he knew this info made his claim legit. He asked if I had an attorney.  I told him no, I have no reason to.  He told me I am being sued by Cash Advance USA (or something like that).  I owed $675 with the principal, interest, fees, etc.  He said it was for an online loan, that I would be getting a subpoena in the next couple of days, and my employer would be contacted to garnish my wages.  I know I did not EVER receive money from an online cash advance company, and told him so.  He would not tell me when the supposed advance occurred.  So, I told him he was a scammer.  He said he had what he needed and hung up.  These guys are scary sounding, and act like they are going to get you somehow!  Sorry if it happens to you too, but you're not alone!

Receiving multiple, harassing, threatening phone calls from a "acropolis law firm" person named David paul.. caller refuses to provide written verification of alleged debt owed, same person using mutiple names such as "officer David Paul"or " Mike Smith and using mutiple phone numbers, including 347-337-6018; 913-294-3232; 052-535-595; 813-703-6415; 321-800-9406; 305-600-0567;052-618-953; 918-442-0679 as well as 1-234-567-898. Since I have spent years working int he banking industry, I am more than aware of my rights under fair debt collection practices act. A debt collector can not have you arrested.  And ... your writing just like the guy that calls everyone.

Some info about this phone # ... says he works for Acropolis Law Firm - no such law firm in Fort Edward, NY.  Has had three different email addresses in 30 days.  Has spelled the law firm two different ways (Acropolis, Acoropolis).  Has used the following email addresses ... alf@gmail, alf@lawfirmlaw, alf@lawyer.com.  Gave an address of 205 Drifting Ridge Road, Fort Edward, NY.  Sent a validation letter in response to his address ... no such address, no such law firm, no such person by the name of Brian Logan.  Contacted my employer about a "legal matter" he needed to speak with me about ... wrong thing to do.  Wanted me to set up a payment plan for something I have repeatedly told him I know nothing about ... wanted the payments to go to ACS in Cary, NC.  ACS is a call center for many different businesses.  I did not pay him, nor did I give him a cc#, checking account #, NOTHING !  If he calls again, my attorney has told me to tell him he can no longer contact me, this "so called" debt was not validated in a timely manner, gave false address, etc etc etc

no it is legit i also think lyk you but when i ignore them i get a phn from county dept. even they have filed a law-suit against me & i resolve this case in court by paying $ 2983..
& i owe only $ 300.

recieved a call from this number & the caller identified himself as "officer Max". I advised them that, that was against the law and if they called back, I would be reporting them.

I got a call toaday at my jub saying that he was trying to collect a debt or something crazy his name he told the receptionisy is BRIAN.....have no idea whats he talking about but he is harrassing me at the job NOT COOL!

this number for the first time today called me with a recycled number and they left a direct number to call back. a person with a very heavy accent still keeps calling my phone saying I owe a pay day loan. their are different individuals that are going around calling from numbers that are not seven digits long and have to give you a number to call back so they can start their scam. please be aware.
