I got a call from that number too, its someone calling about you winning a free trip to the Bahamas. Catch is you have to pay $299 per person with your credit card over the phone right there on the phone

Just got a call and I filled in a form at the BeerFest in Vancouver.. they wanted $299 per persona nd no flights.... plus bonus vacation to Las Vegas.
Called Visa and they said once you give them your number its your fault... Use your instincts...
I think it is a scam..

then they make a complaint when they are called. Duh?? THEY REGISTERED & GAVE THEIR PHONE NUMBER AT A LEGITIMATE EVENT --FOR A LEGITIMATE DISCOUNTED WONDERFUL LUXURY VACATION & they compain???
no on ever tells them that" they won"
these people do not even make valid complaints--they say we tell them that they WON yet they say there is a small charge.
I say Let them stay home......
smart people take advantage of this wonderful offer and are grateful and have a wonderful trip.

Its a highly discounted luxury vacation & they should be grateful they are getting an opportunity to take this vacation.
They gave out their name & phone number to be contacted with the details.

I also just received a call such as this after entering a "contest" at a country fest. Please be mindful that this is OBVIOUSLY a scam. While they did not provide me with a website to visit it was the same number. The woman got very rude when I said that I did not feel comfortable giving that information over the phone, just another sign of a scam. A legitamate business would understand.

These con artists pretend you have won a "free" vacation but then they want your credit card information for a "deposit" of $598 (US). You can verify that it is a scam by trying to find their mailing address on their website or by asking them for this information. They will not give it to you, but they will take your credit card information. Do not be a sucker.
