I got the same call

Caller said he was David Johnson of the IRS and said I owed $2761 in back taxes from 2102. This Indian accent male told me to get 6 Green Dot Money Pack cards (5 for $500 and 1 for $261) and call him back with the card numbers and security codes (yeah right!!!). Obviously a scam. IRS does not make demands for back taxes over the phone, and certainly not with an Indian accent.  

Appears to be a scam.I would love to break this mofo head.Dont worry i have my friends in New York

Same here, got the call from an indian officer David Johnson from Federal Office of "something". I was suppose to be arrested last Saturday.

Its a scam!

I got the same message. Do not call from your cell phone or if you do then use *67 before that number. This is a fraud. I was part of the crowd that had info stolen from Target so i believe that this is from the same people.

Male with Indian-sounding accent called asking for me.  I couldn't understand him and he would not identify himself.  I hung up and he called back and left a message on my answering machine saying he was Officer Mike [last name inaudible], from the Federal Office of [inaudible], Department of [inaudible] Enforcement.  He said a complaint had been filed against me from Adams County (never been there) and then said unless I called 646-766-1139 to answer the complaint, he would get a warrant for local police officers to come to my house or place of work and arrest me.  Really???

The persona calling from this number claimed to be working with an officer but would not tell any information about him or the department he is working for. He also had an Indian accent and was named Mike Smith...
