First of all, Jim Ignatowich is a real name and he is my boss. Whenever I have a question he is always nice about it and answers. Second of all, Bills comment was removed so can you tell me what he said?

Jim Ignatowich? Wasn't that Christopher Lloyd's character in "Taxi"?

Call came in today from this number from Paul Cammarari to my boss. When I asked what project it was regarding, he said it was "personal business", oh yeah sure! I then asked if he wanted to leave a message and he even spelled his last and gave me the phone number. What a bunch of nuts if they think they can get through to the head of the company with that line! And isn't that the last name of Nicolas Cage's character in "Moonstruck"? Who are these people and why can they keep calling and calling?

No you haven't or you wouldn't be looking up their number on here.
This is the kind of post only desperate scammers make.
"Jim Ignatowich"? You know that's a fake name, it's a character on the old TV show Taxi. This is a typical trick scammers use so you can't look up their name on the internet.
This is a SCAM and FRAUD from start to finish, and you are obviously part of it.

Of course these posts are hurting your scam. Funny we never see posts from real investment professionals complaining about this site, because it doesn't hurt legitimate businesses.
But if you're cold calling strangers pushing so-called investment schemes, then you should expect to be damaged by the TRUTH.

I feel as a newly employed Broker here at Investors Capital that I must write something. I have been with this firm for 6 months now. I passed my test three months ago and have been trying to obtain clients. These posts are really hurting my business for I am a recent grad from a New York State school. Investors Capital is a publicly traded company. I don't understand where the term bucket shop comes from. Maybe the business wasn't right for you but I have nothing but positive things to say about Ignatowich and Estevez. These guys have a lot of clients to be talking to on a daily basis and they always seem to have time for me when I have questions. Can we all please be mature enough and go on with our Lives. Thank you.

I have been called a few times by the gentlemen above(Jim Ignatowich mostly) and I must disagree with the comments. When they called they were very polite and conversational. When I asked what the call was about they told me and were very polite. "Calling about an investment idea" was what they said. Told him then that my boss was unavailable and they asked when a better time would be to call. I told them that as well.
Listen, we as secretaries get paid to screen calls obviously, but we are mostly the root of why calls go bad that come in. If you just answer the phone and are very polite, more time then naught the person on the other end of the phone will be polite back. Don't be miserable because your a secretary. You made your own bed so do it right and with a smile :)

This is the second time we have had a call from Jim Ignatowich. He always says it is "personal business" and that my boss "knows who he is". Both are lies!

These clowns have been calling our firm for years. Even though they are asked repeatedly by the attorneys and assistants to stop calling, it does no good. A guy named Paul Kimerary has now started calling from this number as well. I have been cursed on more than one occasion when I inquired about the nature of the call. Everyone at this company has been very rude...no wonder they need business.

Jim Ingatowich called and spoke to my legal assistant....said I would recognize his name. I did not and after reading these posts, decided not to return his call.

Found this searching that name as I had seen it before:
These guys are a chop shop brokerage firm. The names are Jim Ignatowich,
Robert Estevez, Mike Murphy, and Andy Perry. They got in trouble last year
and the last brokerage they were at got shut down by the SEC. Mike Murphy
tried to jump ship and get into a legitimate brokerage, but was turned down
because of his record and the fact that he is a dispicable human being.
They employ high school grads to get people on the phone for them, promising
that they will soon be part of the group. I'd be lying if I said they have
any plans to share their money. Jim Ignatowich originally got wiped out
when the tech bubble burst in 2000-2002, and now he lost a lot of money on
real estate (Hamptons, etc.) in the past year.
A friend of mine who is a lawyer is constantly called by them. Their
primary source is no more than the Martindale Lawyer Directory. A guy named
Joe Martin would call multiple attorneys at his firm on the same day, often
within five minutes each other. They really think personal assistants are
dumb, but it's the same guy on the phone! They let go everyone who worked
for them last year and went to Investors Capital Group.
If you are a personal assistant reading this and they have called you, write
below how they treated you on the phone, and let's work together to make a
dent in their business.
