Green dot probably won't bother with it but if you did it through Western Union call them and file a report. Because photo I.D is require to make any pick up. So that's a start.

He is using another number now I guess cause I received a call from a 202-210-0054 who gave me 202-436-9382. Steve Parker is the name he gave. He gave me a bunch of BS about being selected for (paying taxes) and if send a green dot card for 250, I would receive a grant for 9000, From the Federal Reserve Bank in New York.I Was very tempted but the banks closed at 5:00 so told him I would call him when I got off the following day but he got kinda irritated when he realize that it wasn't happing. I know now thanks to the comments left on this site that it's scam, I can stop wondering about it.

This is a scam a fake company.

This number is a scam company from New York, posing as a Federal Reserve Bank. They are offering government grants in the amount of $9,000. Mike Austin is the alias that is calling me. Money was sent via Western Union, and they just asked for more money in order to release funds. Then they stated that the previous caller failed to mention and include the state taxes. They stated that the money that I was to send is for a donation to a third world country.
