Got a text scam still going on at tx at 5:16 am 2nd ,3 4 text. Person at this number stated her name was Jessica Davis and asked if I still had my truck. When I stated yes this is what I got back:
Hi, Thank you for getting back to me.ok Can you assure me that it's in good state and that i will not be disappointed with it.I'm ready to pay your asking price and to be honest, i wanted to buy this for my Son, but the issue is i am an oceanographer and i do have a contract to go for which starts tomorrow and am leaving any moment from now.The contract is strictly no call due to the lack of reception on the sea area. I didn't really need someone to tell me this was a scammer, but I punched the number into Yahoo just to be sure, and thought I would share so someone else doesn't get taken advantage of.

Received a text from a Craigslist ad he also stated that he was a ocianographer it was a scam thanks to this site I cought it in time thanks

I also received a text from this number, 6468013605, about buying my car off craigslist, on JULY 26, 2012. He seemed nice, but it all did not add up. I told him I only accept cash, and he should send it in a #10 envelope to my PO BOX drop. The scammer did not send me any money. Drats.

Recieved text message to a craiglist ad I posted. Text said they wanted to buythe item ... but they were a oceanographer and ...... I looked into this and stopped before getting to the scam...This number was used to scam people of their paypal info.
