This person contacted me via text about a listing on KSL, received an e-mail saying he posted a payment to my paypal account for $1000 over the asking price of the ad.  Said I had to pay $100 to western union to release the money and send a $900 money gram to his shipping agent before the money would show up in my paypal account.  The e-mails from paypal are fakes, just look at the grammer and spelling of the words.  I informed his that I would not be paying anyone for money that would be owed.  Paypal will charge you a 2.9% transaction fee for items sold by you.  This is a BIG SCAM, DO NOT PAY TO GET MONEY.

This person is also trying to get my info (that i wont give out) to buy my snowmobile in the same manner as you all have stated above......email ,paypal, shipping address. all a scam and the messages doesnt make any sence on how they speak.

Contacted me via text message about a craigslist posting, told me he had posted a payment to my paypal account. Then sent out a fake verifacation email, looked just like a real paypal email and asked me to ship the item to him...BUT...
Paypal will always adress you by the NAME on your account, not the email; in any corrisponce they send you. BEWARE.
After I called him out on being a scammer, the texts stopped comming.

April of 2012 number attempted to western union scam me after I posted a car on Craigslist
